Nah, I'm totally laid back about it*.I bet you can't wait to see what the end result is
Brucie's still saying higher....155 ish at the wheel, mid 90’s lbft
Close enough.164 at the wheel and 110 torques
That is a proper result.Close enough.
162bhp and 92lb/ft.
Well happy innit bruv?
It's making power, increasing power, all the way to the rev limiter and we did discuss raising the rev limit by a few hundred rpm to see what it carried on to but the risk of engine damage vs. the fact it's making 20bhp more than I'd hoped for and had nearly double the power of the original engine wasn't worth it.
I guess that's the reason it doesn't need a front wheelClose enough.

Yes, a lot. Over 10%....Did he lean it off at the top end?
Aww go on then, you miight as well get a race preheater solution rigged up for it.. g'wan, g'wan, g'wan, g'wan.A positive exchange of messages with Chris.
As he rightly points out, the starting issue doesn't need the dyno to solve it and if Chris were to try and work on it full time it - given that the engine has to be stone, stone cold to be sure - it would take days.
Instead he'll lend me a dongle and I'll download a free ECU flash application that will let me put new maps into the ECU. Chris will then work on the issue remotely, amending a map then emailing it to me and I flash it in to the ECU and see how it performs.
Think that's the best way forward....
The issue with the starting problem is the noise and pissing the neighbours off. I want to be able to use the bike as an everyday ride and having to hold the throttle open and rev it is not conducive, at 6am, to staying on good terms with the neighbours...Aww go on then, you miight as well get a race preheater solution rigged up for it.. g'wan, g'wan, g'wan, g'wan.
there's your reason right there - preheat her up, job's a fish. The issue with the starting problem is the noise and pissing the neighbours off. I have to interject here. "Her"? "HER"? It's a motorbike, it's an "it". It's a machine......preheat her up, job's a fish.
Italian twinkle...I have to interject here. "Her"? "HER"? It's a motorbike, it's an "it". It's a machine.
No more "her". Ever.
