PM expected to back loans for gas price-hit firms PM expected to back loans for gas price-hit firms

Apparently the government are reluctant to use tax payers money to prop up failing businesses and why would they when all their friends failing businesses need help.
Loans backed by the government is ultimately tax payers money when they default on repayment. It's then an energy company subsidy, or cash for Russia laundering scheme - nothing to see here 🤔

They will be able to use all the money recouped from the Bounce Back Loan (Buy Bimota Loan)repayments.

I'm certain there will be no defaulters with those.
MY Goat man, who'd use their cheap unsecured loan to buy premium (non Ducati) motorcycles.... isn't that "verboten" 👀:rolleyes:;):coffee::giggle:

Shite.....
My current gas deal ends 21st December 2021.
2.7322p per kWh and 17.85p per day inc vat. Tariff Name: Mercury 12 v41 Zog Energy

New variable deal
4.1685p per kWh and 25.2p per day inc vat.

Q: Why has my standing charge increased by 41% ?
Has the cost of maintaining the infrastructure suddenly increased?

52% INCREASE in my gas costs or an extra +£2000pa grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
.... that's a BA First Class return to New York!!!!

Still not had a shag Chizel monkey?

Whilst some are bashing the U.K. in regards to energy, they may have a point but not the obvious one. When comparing the U.K. to other european countries the cry has gone out, it's brexit innit.

In truth, many of the heavily dependent coal power stations countries simply went back to using coal and fuck the climate. Germany gets 53% of it's power as we speak, from coal, because their green wind and sun resources are not great. The U.K. in the rush to be first and the greenest, even boasted earlier this year that we had had moments where we were using no coal at all.

So yes, the U.K. can be blamed for it's difficulty with power but not from brexit but by taking giant green steps rather than smaller continual blending steps. Green is not the entire answer
