Thats some sprocket selection.
Indeed, just a dry build start point for maximum clearance until I know where I can go front to rearThats some sprocket selection.
Chain path is cock on straight with good clearance on a 525 chain - ratio's will need adjusting depending on final swing arm pivot position and angle - I didn't worry too much about it other than building in plenty of adjustment. How does the ratio and chain path look?
I'd have built it with minimum, it can only increase.Indeed, just a dry build start point for maximum clearance until I know where I can go front to rear![]()
I built it with maximum to clear the top swing arm adjustment position as it can lower then go lower in 3 different positions - but was unsure where it would all end up anyway to a degreeI'd have built it with minimum, it can only increase.
On my Ducati trackbikes, I look for around 2.5I built it with maximum to clear the top swing arm adjustment position as it can lower then go lower in 3 different positions - but was unsure where it would all end up anyway to a degree(hence the adjustability)
Standard sprockets are 15/41 (Ratio 2.73)
This is 17/44 (Raitio 2.59) +5.6% only on top end.
That's an axle standI like the premium paddock stand brackets on the swing arm.
I also like the bottle jack under the swing arm supporting the bike.

Depends where the pivot is positioned - I aimed for 2 adjustments either side of my standard guestimate. The shock spring is another issue - I need to see if I can get one weak enough, and the travel might be a bit too small being off a ZX10R (well, it's actually got a bit of wood in there at the moment). It currently has zero static sag and not really any more when you sit on itOn my Ducati trackbikes, I look for around 2.5
Does the swing arm have much arc movement, when the spring is removed from shock, to check the swing?
Only the Kitchen TT..Depends where the pivot is positioned - I aimed for 2 adjustments either side of my standard guestimate. It will be going to Gareth's at Reactive Suspension to try and get it somewhere half decent - but it doesn't need to win any races

Indeed it isMust've been a few years when you got the wheels.
I will be insuring it on a Classic Insurance policy with all the modifications - it is registered already and it has it's original frame and engine number - the Headstock and cradle are standardBoring questions I do not know the answers to
1. How will you get it registered without a frame number or are you using /cloning one from an existing bike?
2. Who will insure it and how valid will the cerificate be (on impact) when the state of modifications is listed/found out from the original registration?
Sorry
I asked Chad to make a decibel killer just in caseDid you nick that from a subaru?

Nothing as it is in HullSo whilst your best welding dude is doing this for the bike, what else are you doing to it in preparation for when it comes back?
Stunning said the mad as frogs man.
