My mate Jim ordered a new Desert X, he’s admitting the Hyper he bought 3 months ago was a mistake.

They do it in green for £400 extra, but no, the wheels aren’t redMight have felt nice, but it doesn’t have super-duper red wheels does it!

Easiest wind up ever!Them 748's always look better in yellow
Why is Noobie not knowing his bikes a wind up?Easiest wind up ever!
The chicken strips on that are wider than mine on my maroon bobber's 240 rear tyre !!The 998 has just been dropped off by its uncle Alan after its recommission service and MOT
Just the fairing lowers to pop back on tomorrow

The tyres are brand new you mongyThe chicken strips on that are wider than mine on my maroon bobber's 240 rear tyre !!
And, what's that green thing in the bottom of the picture, is it finished yet ?![]()
Which KR though? The tyres are brand new you mongyso yes, about the same as yours so well spotted
KR finished 3 years agoyou are fast approaching 20 years for your blobber build.
The only strips Noobie leaves regularly these days are skid marks in his pants![]()
NoWhich KR though?
I remember back in around 2013, when you first started the build, you were going to build two bikes in tandem. One of them would be as close to original spec as it was possible to get and the other one was going to be less faithful to the original and would benefit from more modern technology. I thought that was ambitious at the time but you seemed to know what you were doing.
After a few months, we stopped hearing about a second KR - does that mean that you finished it and then took your time with the other one?
Duck tape mate, will enhance the aesthetic innitToday it's nothing but heavy showers so down to the garage to give my air filter a clean on the Harley. It's a Two Brothers Racing air filter that has a Patent Pending on it.
The other problem is TBR have gone tits up so can't get one from them.
It's a clever bit of kit that was £600 for the unit but the problem i have is there is a blanking plate that i don't have!!
Mine is only using the velocity stack and not the filter.

The velocity stack screws into the main unit.

There is a screw in blanking plate that screws in instead of the velocity stack so your only using the K&N filter.

I've found one on ebay in the states but they don't ship to the UK.
As you can see that is the blanking plate.
