What a top Dad thing to do that is.I forgot to say, I bought a non-running 2000 Monster 600 (unseen) whilst I was on holiday, it cost me all of 600€.
Well, it was running (allegedly) until it stopped a couple of years ago. No spark apparently and he couldn’t get to the bottom of it.
It will give me something to do once I’ve finished the customer bikes on my work list. Plan is to fix it up so the youngest daughter can learn & do her IBT.
Ironing fist? You do the ironingI went with the heart, b's head and iron fist are making me and things work... ish...
What is the head to ironing ratioI went with the heart, b's head and iron fist are making me and things work... ish...
I actually ironed a shirt for the first time in maybe 10 years the other day!! For a funeral..What is the head to ironing ratio![]()
How much do the geezers pay Chiz?I actually ironed a shirt for the first time in maybe 10 years the other day!! For a funeral..
Normally I have nothing that needs ironing.
On the few occasions I wear a suit I get it cleaned and pressed.
I get plenty of head though, so the ratio is very good!!!
Today after having a unexpected bolt of enthusiasm i went down to the garage to get to the bottom of the Enfield problem. I have with out doubt a fueling issue so took the fuel pump out of the tank and give it a good clean, i know the fuel pump works as i tested it. Fitted it with a new fuel strianer because i can and put it all back together. I can't start the bike as the battery is flat so will charge over night and give it another go tomorrow after i've cleaned the injector within an inch of it's life after some tips from an Indian guy with subtitles in India on youtube.I have a feeling it could be the injector so after another good clean and still the same result i will get another one, there are a few on Ebay going at a sensible price, 100 odd quid brand new.

I am fucking there.Yesterday I did a nice 70 odd mile circuit from home through Bedfordshire and then around North Hertfordshire before stopping at a lovely country pub recently taken over by an Italian family and now serving good pizzas and pasta .

They have a very large garden and in there they have set up a petanque pitch, or is it course ? I`m not sure. There must have been an organised competition as there were about 20 people playing yesterday. Luckily no violence despite all competitors being white , middle aged or older so obviously of the Far Right. I even saw some people smoking outside, disgraceful scenes !
Here is a strange rule from the game that I`m sure many of us will strongly approve of :-
fanny (mettre fanny). To lose a game without scoring any points; a shutout game. When a player loses 13 to 0, he is said to fanny ("il est fanny", he's fanny, or "il a fait fanny", he made fanny) and must kiss the bottom of a girl named Fanny.
So there you have it, The Musgrave Arms in Shillington, the place to come for pizza and fanny.
You are certainly somewhere bro....I am fucking there.
I took the liberty of reserving you a place there for the next event.I am fucking there.
The road between Hitchin and Codicote and between Hitchin and Barton Le Clay are great for motorcycling,Yesterday I did a nice 70 odd mile circuit from home through Bedfordshire and then around North Hertfordshire before stopping at a lovely country pub recently taken over by an Italian family and now serving good pizzas and pasta .

I used to live in Barton Le Clay and would regularly ride to Codicote via Hitchin. Lovely roads as you say and enjoyable without having to go mental as some beautiful countryside to look at.The road between Hitchin and Codicote and between Hitchin and Barton Le Clay are great for motorcycling,
though both roads have claimed their victims over the years.
I used to cycle from Hitchin to Barton in the '60's it was a peaceful country lane with hardly any traffic.I used to live in Barton Le Clay and would regularly ride to Codicote via Hitchin. Lovely roads as you say and enjoyable without having to go mental as some beautiful countryside to look at.
