Aye, we all had a good working ethic from an early age, since then what has changed?7 years old working at the farm and serious morning /evening/weekend working from 11 or 12... £35-40 a week in 1978, depending on the season.... my basic wage when leaving college was £28 / week... quickly got it to plus £75 with overtime/role changes.
No excuse for any f'ecker to not be working around here... posters advertising no experience jobs everywhere... basic wage is £25k don't forget.
Corporal punishment in schools banned, parents told not to hit their kids, Esther Rantzen and fucking childline, the fucking bleeding heart liberals, fucked it up for society, kids whining they can't do it and stamp and scream til some daft Guinness does it for them!
Thankfully my two lads have inherited a strong work ethic from madam Bounder and I.
