Kawasaki KR1000 Endurance Replica

The frame is back from the painters after a few months on holiday 🥳
Very Happy with the colour I went for in the end, better than Black and the satin finish looks fab.
The lengthy final build can commence (get Christmas out of the way first though I think) :giggle:

I'm liking that Exi, looks brilliant (y)
We fully expect to see it at least sat on it's wheels by the weekend, this coming weekend that is !!🤨

Give me your address.

I won't bother trying to straighten them as they'll just get all bent up again on the boat to Prison Island.

???

You can barely tell the crease in the fork upper!

The other upper isn't pictured. That'll need some work.

Anyway, you can't find yours because they're hidden in the back of the drinks cabinet in your lounge.
They are on my 999 shelf in the Garage but there is a Lotus in the way, I can see them but can't touch them 🤷‍♂️

Soooo, the plan was to buy a Clarke Bike Lift for the final build - but they are out of stock everywhere until February I think  not as though I'll need it until then 🤣 but today I decided to utilise my Lotus Ramp System as a temporary platform - it's 40cms off the ground which should be enough to make life easier - the system is 3 metres long with main ramps at 2.5 metres which are a bit OTT but I can shorten the whole system by reducing the end towers over hang if it gets in the way lengthwise. Just need to drill a few new holes and that would get it down to 2.5 metres.

I can bolt the ramps together too with spacers to give maximum stability.

And if it goes OK I have saved myself £600 too 💰

I've got a Skylift you can borrow !? ;)

These people have a good selection, (not sure what's in stock though) & one of my mates has one of these, really good piece of kit (y)

I still have another SkyLift 🤪 but wanted a platform to build the bike on. That one you linked is double the price of a Clarke and isn't as long - I think the Clarke at 2200mm is the best option for the money, although I think my free option will work well :)
