Kawasaki KR1000 Endurance Replica

Soooo, the plan was to buy a Clarke Bike Lift for the final build - but they are out of stock everywhere until February I think  not as though I'll need it until then 🤣 but today I decided to utilise my Lotus Ramp System as a temporary platform - it's 40cms off the ground which should be enough to make life easier - the system is 3 metres long with main ramps at 2.5 metres which are a bit OTT but I can shorten the whole system by reducing the end towers over hang if it gets in the way lengthwise. Just need to drill a few new holes and that would get it down to 2.5 metres.

I can bolt the ramps together too with spacers to give maximum stability.

And if it goes OK I have saved myself £600 too 💰

With that build stand you’ll finally be able to fit that lengthened swinging arm you wanted.

I have one of these for lifting the car and working on it. Its the 12v system works off a M/cycle battery. You can get an add on where you put them side by side and use as a motorcycle lift

yeah .. conspiracy theorist and subject matter experts all over the internet will be livid!!!! it doesn't exist, this is the third time he has tried to create something to fix the problem...... you get the bike stands you deserve! Always!! and that is quite magnificent!!!!!! 👀

Started stripping the forks for re-finishing - still a bit to go, hassle getting the top blue anodised adjusters out, bottom ones should be easier but it's time to relax now. Then just the lowers to remove with my new tool :)

Stanchions will be re-plated (titanium nitride) in Gold as they were.

Fork Tubes will be re anodised in black instead of gold.

The fork lowers will be Cerakoted copper.

The blue damping adjusters will be black for the lower and maybe copper for the top ones with the silver top caps going black.
