Ducati 1098R - For Sale

I think it may be time to let my 1098R go to a new home. It's far from standard although I have most of the standard parts. I'd like it to go as is, as I just haven't got time to return to standard and if I keep it, I'd have to put it back to the way it is.

The bike was one of the bikes pre-registered by Ducati UK to race in BSB. It was sold to the 1st owner in Jersey by Pro Twins who used it as his track day bike and spent a pretty penny on it. I bought it from him and registered it back in the UK on the original registration. Therefore it shows as one previous owner to myself, which is Ducati UK.

The bike is basically mint and I can't think of any marks of note on it.

JHP built engine with Pistal pistons
NOVA gearbox
Nemesis traction control
Nemesis QS - Race shift pattern.
Ohlins 30mm cartridge fork kit
BST carbon swing arm
BST carbon wheels
DP alloy coolant hoses
DP slipper clutch
JHP open clutch cover
Alloy tank. Increased capacity and custom painted.
Quick action throttle
Termignoni full system with slash cut exhausts.
Mosfet regulator conversion
LiPo battery
Superpole seat
Gilles ergo levers
Gilles rear sets
JHP clutch slave cylinder
Reduced mass flywheel
Waterless coolant

I have a load of original parts including the original exhaust with long carbon Termignonis. Fuel tank. Dash. ECU. Front fork internals. Gold forged wheels. A lot more that I can't remember.

Around 7,800 miles as it had a dash change at 6,000, which I still have. Currently showing about 1,800 miles.

The bike the way it is and all the original spares I have for it - £25k.

For the hard of reading, I said around £20k. I give more just to outbid one clown on this thread . What are the carbon wheels worth, I wouldn't use them, maybe not the swinger either.
Oh I would use them, as bragging ammo, in a pissing contest with clowns :giggle:

It's a very simple choice to be honest Pauly. There are enough 1098r's that if you wanted one since this thread started, you could have simply bought one but you haven't, so you simply are not after an average 1098r.

Despite your protestation, you do want the extra goodies either to use when riding or sell on to recoup some cash. Another reason why you want Robs bike

So it comes down to one thing really, if you want a lidl 1098r then go and buy one but stop whinging about Rob's M&S 1098R because from here, all I see is just another digital tyre kicker blethering on and on and on

Don't tell me what I want. This thread has dried up a few times, and then the same grumpy old gits that haven't bought one for years, chime in. When did the last basic 1098R sell privately for over £20k?
