Small wonder they asked the Lancet to pull an article about a study which showed that salt was in fact good for the heart.

Today I've bought a blood pressure moniter because a guy at boxing couldn't fight last year because he failed the medical on the day because of high blood pressure, so I want to find out what mine's like before the event, and to be able to change it if I have to.

It'll be interesting to see, and I wish I'd got one 18 months ago for comparison.

A "friend" gave me his old monitor when he got a new one.

I measured myself = 300 over 150 - and threw the unit away. I have another one now.

You've reminded me it's been ages since I've used it!

This is me after half a bottle of vodka and an 8 ball... Still ticking nicely 😆 you got to look after yourself 👀👀

I get those sort of BP values if I check my BP in my sleep :ROFLMAO:
Just now, 137 / 81, pulse 73. Higher than I can achieve but not horrible, for me.

Mine's an A&D Medical. It came well recommended but that was at least three years ago. I'll keep using it until it gives me values I don't like :D

When ever I go to the docs, an old school armband and pump set up is used to check blood pressure.. I wonder why they don't use these electronic gizmos?

Second picture. You never mentioned Chiz was at yours
I stand by my statement.. You is an Essex geezer.. You understand the achievement of even taking a picture while consuming a cocktail of columbia's finest and a half litre of absolute and I managed to put a blood pressure monitor on and you pick out the little blurry picture... I thought it was just my eyes on the night 😆😆 FYI my wife is disgusted my blood pressure stays so controlled when I'm off my box 👀

Not relieved…not thankful…not impressed - disgusted! Why can’t people just be happy for others 😁

It goes to show, it doesn’t matter how many reports are written by so called experts - if it doesn’t agree with experimentation, it’s wrong
