Spot on.Permanent pasture traps vast amounts of carbon in the soil. Cultivation releases it and uses more petro-chemicals to do so. Not that it matters of course because there is no such thing as carbon-driven climate-change. But if that's the modus operandi the climate hysterics want to run with, logically they'd be promoting meat over veganism. In fact, we'd all be like Dox and living on raw steaks. Though personally I'd be augmenting mine with foraged wild greens because I do like a bit of a side salad with my still warm and pulsating slab of animal muscle.
There we are, I've solved the climate "crisis": we must become hunter-gathers. It would also solve the over-population crisis. Why did no one think of living like this before?
