Civil servants behind the crusade to reach Net Zero have flown more than three million miles this year, it has emerged.
Staff in Ed Miliband’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero have been accused of hypocrisy after details of their globetrotting were revealed.
Officials flew 3,211,644 air miles between January and September this year on 1,130 flights, Parliament was told.

I recall a woman saying she had the same last year as the town had been built on a flood plain and the rivers poorly maintained with little or no dredging to lower the river to take excess waters. General rule of thumb, nature spent thousands of years creating waterways in the U.K. don't build on areas nature designed to be full of water.

Firm making millions from controversial 'Bovaer' cow feed additive
DSM-Firmenich, the Dutch-Swiss company that makes Bovaer, has hit back at 'misinformation' about its product.
Just a bit more on that additive to cows. The bit that struck me was this;
"Both the UK and EU food safety authorities approved Bovaer prior to the trial, stating that it is safe for use and does not affect the quality of milk. It has also been authorised in several other countries, including Australia, Brazil and Canada."
But was also followed by this
"The methane supplement is made of silicon dioxide, propylene glycol and the organic compound 3-nitrooxypropanol (known as 3-NOP). Last year, the UK’s Food Standards Agency reported that while 3-NOP was safe to use in animal feed additives and is not corrosive to skin, it “should be considered corrosive to the eyes, a skin irritant and potentially harmful by inhalation”.

Permanent pasture traps vast amounts of carbon in the soil. Cultivation releases it and uses more petro-chemicals to do so. Not that it matters of course because there is no such thing as carbon-driven climate-change. But if that's the modus operandi the climate hysterics want to run with, logically they'd be promoting meat over veganism. In fact, we'd all be like Dox and living on raw steaks. Though personally I'd be augmenting mine with foraged wild greens because I do like a bit of a side salad with my still warm and pulsating slab of animal muscle.
There we are, I've solved the climate "crisis": we must become hunter-gathers. It would also solve the over-population crisis. Why did no one think of living like this before?
