Diet

I've been off coffee since I had the flu in 2022 (convid) I have an occasional one when I'm taken to a coffee shop but generally just drink tea, anyway, always had back issues (near crippled in 2018) but the lack of coffee thing hasn't really helped as I get flare ups every now and then. Interested to hear if it works for you and I can do some deeper investigations (y)
It could be that bulging sporran Larry…

Ok, but...

“As it stands, the PBMAs currently available do not offer the same health advantages as a traditional plant-based diet, generally consisting of whole foods such as whole grains, legumes and a plethora of fruits and vegetables. This gives an impetus for the food industry to re-evaluate the development of the next generation of meat alternative products, so that they not only taste good, but also have improved nutritional attributes and are more affordable for the entire population,” he concluded.

What benefits are those then? And compared to what? There are no studies (yet, but they are coming) comparing standard diet, and plant based diet to an all animal based diet. Watch this space.

Yeah, all those vegan alternatives are processed anyway. We did the vegan thing (I never actually did but supported Lady K on her journey) years ago and made the realization of how stupid it is to exchange meat foods with vegan alternatives. If one's going to do it just eat veggies in whatever way you can. You can't replace meat with vegetables no matter how much tofu, bean curd, cauliflower and spices you use, it's not meat there is not alternative. Just eat differently, forget about meat altogether.

Today, I came in at 181lbs. 6 more to go to reach Exige's level of sveltness, 9 total to meet the optimal height to weight ratio, thanks to a mostly meat only change in eating.

Height to weight is complete bollix an over simplistic metric and fucking zero to do with health 🤷‍♂️

From a beer swilling smoke monkey 😆😆.. Where are you now chiz 👀 I bet you ain't in the gym 😆😆
Haven't had a smoke in nearly 4 months!!! Loads of beer though!! I'd love to hit the gym but 2 fucked shoulders have stopped that stuff.. moved about 3 tons of soil and concrete in the last 2 days though so I'm getting plenty of exorcize in!
I'm in bed btw, its 4.30 am here!!!

Its a pity moving building materials doesn't make you tight like a macho man I'd not bother my bollocks going near a gym 🤷‍♂️

Agreed. Since I've been back in the gym I'm the fittest I've been in over 10 years. My BMI says I'm overweight but I have been building muscle. I guess your BMI says you are over weight?
Yep I'm clinically obese on the BMI scale but I have had a proper medical to counteract the diagnosis.. My insurance tried to load me after I had a medical with their retarded nurse.. Luckily I grilled her on her qualifications and her Aldi weighing scales when she visited my house.. My wife is also a nurse with a post graduate degree from trinity College who told the 22 year old Filipino she would be making a complaint about the state of her medical equipment.. My insurance is now cheaper than ever.. That me in my avatar last summer I'm 80 kg and 5'7", in my 20s I was 94kg and proper body building where as now it's about trying to stay young and strong... Diet is 85%of that I just wish I knew in my 20s what I know now 🤷‍♂️

I'm 80kg and 5'10" and that puts me in the overweight bracket. 🤷‍♂️

I'm 5'9" and 83kg - overweight.

They could easily factor in other criteria such as waist size; chest sizel thigh; bicep - still not perfect but much better than just height and weight.
