Diet

If it's a choice between "medics" and a juice diet, I'll take the cancer.
A good biker buddy of mine was diagnosed with cancer of the lymph system earlier this year he is doing cheamo and tolerating it well but also carnivore diet with no sugar or carbs... Surprisingly he told his doctor and he said great idea... As little sugar as possible and low carb was his advice for longterm lifestyle .. The cancer is incurable but he should get 5-6 year between relapse but he can live a normal lifespan just constant treatment should it keep reoccurring which he's told it will .. The key is to keep the cancer in the lymph system so a long term eating lifestyle is key 👍 he's one year older than me at 49

Sorry to hear about your mate and it sounds like a very positive attitude he is taking, all the best to him and freinds and family. (y)

He says their is nothing else he can do but be positive and pro active. The cancer itself in the lymph system is one of the easiest cancers to treat but if it spreads its nearly always Game over 🙏
We all move on in the end so try and make the most of it, i've killed off all the youtube people i followed as it was just making me depressed!! It sounds harsh but fuck all that shit, my mental health is more important!! :) All the best to ya and you need to calm down!!:ROFLMAO:

You never see stories about the millions of people who died while being treated with chemo. I know of two this year.
Absolutely.. My dad tolerated chemotherapy very bad.. To be honest he would have had 6-12 months of good life if he refused treatment but instead gave us 30 months to say goodbye with all but 2-3 weeks of enjoyment due to nausea 😥

My dear old mum had terminal lung cancer, she never got the chance for treatment, a massive stroke took her at 69

Even now when I think about them, a big 'orrible fucker has a tear in his eye
Watching my old man get consumed by cancer will be with me to my last breath... He cried once through the whole 2 years and generally took his death with unbelievable humor and strength... He did that for us his family and I don't think I will ever understand his ability to laugh and shrug it off with a horribly inappropriate joke.. He was a bloke to the end 😥... The day before he died the beautiful angel that was his home help asked him was it finally time for pain relief.. Ie a morphine pump which would basically euthanize him.... He said absolutely but his preference was still a gun and bullet if possible 🙈I had to say easy dad not everyone got our sense of humor but she laughed and went about hooking him up at 2 pm on a Tuesday he was gone 7.50 Wednesday morning as peaceful as I'd imagine anyone can leave this place 🙏 anyway Bob as he would say get on with enjoying yourself because it all happens in the blink of an eye 👍

My mum got breast cancer - mastectomy and chemo. About 3 years later it came back and she had various bouts of chemo and radiotherapy. It went to her spine and her brain.
I move in with her for a while as she’d fallen one night. We got home help in for during the day and I’d stay at hers overnight. I woke up to her falling in the middle of the night…I gently berated her because I was there to help her, and she said she didn’t want to bother me. It’s sad having to carry your mum to and from the toilet. Three stints in the hospice then she rallied. Final three months were in a nursing home. They told us she was on her way out and I stayed with her until she went, 36 hours later. Tough tough generation.

While I've been full carni, I virtually stopped drinking coffee having one maybe every 2 or 3 weeks. Then about six weeks ago I got a taste for it again and thought 'it's not doing me any harm'. And I started having it more to teh point of a small cafftiere every day - about 3 espresso cupfulls, which I'd drink at the same time. From beans I ground myself. Very nice.

But - about three weeks ago I started getting lower back pain, which has been a weak point on and off, at one stage leading to me getting rid of my bikes. So it was starting to worry me. It wasn't spasming, but a constant pain for a couple of hours from sitting at my desk in the morning and wore off throughout the day.

I thought maybe it's the coffee, so my last one was last saturday. Started easing on tuesday and today it's been 10% of what it was. If it goes completely I'll know it was the coffee.

Well I didn't have any coffee for a few weeks and the pain was all but gone. Then towards the end of last week it came back again...so it probably wasn't the coffee.
I'm fine walking, riding, golfing...not a problem, it's mostly when I get up from a chair it talks a good few paces before it goes away. And no issue when I get of a bike.

I've got the same chair I've had for years. Can't get in to my chiropractor until after Scotchland trip unless she gets a cancellation. Hopefully it'll feck off again.

Make sure your knees are below your hips sitting, far better for hips and back 👌

I feel your pain - in the literal sense, my back pain came out of nowhere and follows the same pattern in that I have to get up from a chair at regular intervals, also bad getting out of bed and standing upright. It is becoming less intrusive over time. On the plus side I followed your lead a week ago and cut out coffee and now I can get back to a couple of coffees a day - if anyone wants half a bag of cocoa powder - - - -

They are no more anonymous the anyone here for example. True anonymity is rarely possible nowadays. Been that way for a while.

Interestingly, despite this being the case, criminals continue to seemingly go unnoticed. Additionally, anyone attempting to operate sans electronics/social media themselves attract attention by not playing with the rest of the NPCs. 🤔 It's a bit unsettling.
