Diet

I word of warning: if hitting a lamb thigh bone when hot to access the marrow, they don’t need much of a hit…and the warm marrow can spray in a thousand directions.
Dox, a battery operated reciprocating/oscillating saw is your friend, plus being able to suck a golf ball up a garden hose, as Bill Clinton described Monica Lewinsky!

My weekend meat rations, and food for the dog. All local (IOW) costs a tad more but happy to keep it local and decent.
My bank holiday Monday efforts for a roast, took me all weekend to eat the sausages

Testosterone is virtually harmless to men in even high doses but men are never prescribed testosterone as a medication despite proof it's essential in everything men do from mental health to fitness strength and vitality but drops away from our 30,s.. Women are prescribed HRT at the drop of a hat despite it being dangerous for estrogen driven cancers to the stage doctors have to monitor it to avoid breast and ovarian cancer which are heavily affected by high estrogen levels... I wonder which one is a newer more expensive drug 😉

My dad used to refer to margarine as axle grease 😂 I’d be in a cafe with him ordering breakfast, they’d say “you want butter on your bread?” There started the axle grease comment and a heated discussion over what you should be willing to feed customers. He was ahead of the game by quite a few years 👍
The old joke of margerine being closer to plastic than butter is probably not too far off... Anything that claims low fat or cholesterol is too be avoided as these natural ingredients will be substituted with some crap developed in a lab 🤷‍♂️

Supposedly one molecule away from plastic. Never tried it but they reckon if you leave a tub outside, birds won’t touch it, don’t see it as a food

While I've been full carni, I virtually stopped drinking coffee having one maybe every 2 or 3 weeks. Then about six weeks ago I got a taste for it again and thought 'it's not doing me any harm'. And I started having it more to teh point of a small cafftiere every day - about 3 espresso cupfulls, which I'd drink at the same time. From beans I ground myself. Very nice.

But - about three weeks ago I started getting lower back pain, which has been a weak point on and off, at one stage leading to me getting rid of my bikes. So it was starting to worry me. It wasn't spasming, but a constant pain for a couple of hours from sitting at my desk in the morning and wore off throughout the day.

I thought maybe it's the coffee, so my last one was last saturday. Started easing on tuesday and today it's been 10% of what it was. If it goes completely I'll know it was the coffee.

I've been off coffee since I had the flu in 2022 (convid) I have an occasional one when I'm taken to a coffee shop but generally just drink tea, anyway, always had back issues (near crippled in 2018) but the lack of coffee thing hasn't really helped as I get flare ups every now and then. Interested to hear if it works for you and I can do some deeper investigations (y)

Maybe it's cafeine as that's in tea aswell? Whatever it is, it seems to be inflamation (the root cause of many ills), which is caused by something. If it's not a trauma it must be something we ingest.
