Surely you need a heat map rather than a pareto.I need to audit what is on in each room....
Perhaps time switches for some things like Battery Tenders and Amazon devices.
Wireless switches to shut down power to the electric gates etc at night.
Charges for things like Garden trimmers etc.
This device will at least let me apply some pareto analysis as to where to put my efforts first.

What has surprised me is just 3 Watts 24hrs a day, 365 days a year is now £7.33 a year....
That's the typical minimum a device on standby* takes... now, more than ever, we need to go around and unplug everything we aren't using.
Note phone chargers consume power even when the phone is fully changed..... this can be seen as heat in the charger.
* older devices are 15 to 25Watts on standby, very modern devices are 0.5 to 1.5W.....

Given our kW/h consumption overall we are at under 20% for electric compared to Gas heating / cooking.
And I was literally using the term Heat and map, to show where electric was being consumed; not the term used by software/data engineers/programmers.
And think we've done to death the fact I want to see which circuits are using the most power, so I can investigate / reduce / unplug loads etc FIRST.
Big problem, break it down into little ones, and then solve.

We've Williams Jade freezer at home.
Standby is 33 Watts and cooling circa 780 Watts, however monitoring it for a month it is taking around 5kW/hr per 24 hours ... just over £523 a year.
Given that we only open the door about 5 times a week I was wondering why so much energy?
Well several times a day it switches to "de-ice" mode, regardless of if there is any ice on the evaporator.
This means an internal 2kW electric fire is turned on to melt the ice away.
Given that this freezer is designed to be accessed 10/hr for 18 hours a day I've been playing around with a few programming settings and will report back.
Door seal de-ice is now set to manual.
Dropped evaporator De-ice to every 24 hours and not 8....
I will report back on savings and problems, if any.
My wife is supposed to be decommissioning the +20 year old freezer in the utility room, but upon a quick check it appears to be very full.
Next job is check the main kitchen US style Bosch Fridge Freezer.... I'm sure this is power hungry.

but have just installed a solar battery charging thing to keep the bike topped up
