I would like a zero/low mileage example of the Desmosedici RR.
Must be 100% standard.
Full Ducati Service History a must.
Cash at Bank immediate Transfer, no waiting.

You won’t get a zero mile bike with any service history me thinks 🤔 and largely the same with low mileage ones too, I think @Robarano ’s has service history wether used or not, but not many will have 👀

Will you use it aircon? If so I'd rather one that's seen some action over the last 13-14 years? What's your thoughts on it?

£55K.... I was hoping for forty something.....
It might have to wait until Mrs AC has had a few holidays to catch up.

Looks like I might have to cut my cloth a bit.
Big price difference across sellers I was looking last year but procrastinated and brexit for the minute has fu##ed me! In fairness Britain is about the only place I'd buy one due to the bike culture you guys have the bikes tend to be the best condition all around!

I think a zero or near zero miles unit, even with no service history has the best potential to out run the stock market.
Currently selling a motor vehicle has zero impact on capital gains tax, which may be useful in the future give how worldwide taxation is only going one way.

Mine has service history and is going in in a few weeks for another. Basically they just change the fluids and look at it, but if it ever needs anything, it'll get done.

My mate has one with 46 miles (iirc) on it. Bought new, absolutley standard, but as @Exige says, it's never been serviced. He didn't even take advantage of the free, 3 years servicing that came with the bike, it's just sat in his garage. I suppose all it needs is a service to use it. 🤷‍♂️

Do you think you mate would let his go? for say, £39,000....
There's a bag of sand in it for your trouble, if you can persuade him.

How could you buy one of these and not ride it even if it’s just the once, only the lucky few get the chance.
I imagine there’s an experience day you could go on to have a spin therefore protecting your investment.
Good luck on your quest AC, I wish I was in your position financially.
Absolute dream bike for me.

I'd be the same I couldn't own one and not at least do one tea and cake run a year they are a special bike 😍 but it would be a boring old world if we all thought the same 🤷‍♂️

Not being serviced is a tricky point as the coolant will be rotting the internals nicely as well as fuel clogging up, just for info
This would be my fear with a zero mileage bike, a genuine question for the more mechanical of us here? I'd rather a lightly used bike as my thinking is the seals o rings and even metal surfaces would get a smear of oil every now and then? In a zero mile bike it might have sat pretty much all its life with all these parts drying out with no lubrication to preserve them? With the rebuilt desmo that was done on YouTube they seen a few of these problems due to inactivity, they even had to replace the head gaskets as they were letting go? 800 pounds for a gasket set 😝

They would be dry stored wouldn’t they if they weren’t used?
Rob has his serviced every year whether he’s used it or not.
His would be the one to buy as it’s looked after like a baby.
I’d like to know why AC is getting rid of his cash.....

But Rob is selfish and won't sell it to me for 40 k 🤷‍♂️ but it is the way to buy one a proper garage queen or display bike would worry me slightly

People who buy zero mile bikes are never going to use them, just have them as an ornament/investment.
