Once the carbon cover, heat shield and seat unit go on, there is not alot of the end can visible anyhu, but I want things clean and shiny even is ya can't see em...

Soooooo ...
Got the exhaust clean and bolted back on but could help but think something was missing...
The seals!! So all back off.. I had bought some new ones from rapido bout 6 months ago and it took nearly that long to find em in my "workshop"... well, it felt like it did..
Didn't quite know how to install em as the old ones were just Lil pieces stuck inside the pipes and there is no clear piccies in the manual..
I thought they must go on like in this pic..
But that meant the large one was to big for anywhere, one of the small ones would do the large pipe but the the other 2 small ones were to big for the other pipes...

Called rapido to see iffa they had sent me the correct items and tried to explain the situation.. sent them some pics to illustrate what was going on..
Whilst I was waiting for Luke in the parts department to ask one of the mechanics and call me back, I had an epiphany!
I was installing em wrong!!
What? Dont be arseholes!!!
I never said I knew what I was doing!!!

It's a bit like using a johny, roll it OVER the rim, OVER it:D

Right.. can off springs on.. didn't need to take the can off though..in fact it was no help at all as ya can't put the springs on and then the heat shield.. hell no! No heat shield sits atop of the can as you kinda blindly feed the can onto the pipes then you very blindly afix the springs then bolt the can to the frame..
I know I'm not a mechanic but I've done enough spanner work to know this series of Duke is fucken retarded when it come to working on...
Anyhu, that's the last time I have to take the zorst off... tonight.. at least....
