Like the fukkers who bought properties near Laguna Seca and are now trying to shut it down.
cant agree more, it was bad enough when they made them let off the throttle at the certain point on the track but now they are complaining soo much ,I fear I may never get to race there. Track days took a hit a few years ago with a guy went off track on his Ducati, lost control and broke his femor, he sued and although the track had him sign a weaver, he argued that he had skipped the manditory safety meeting and he was aware there were sandbags in the gravel pits to control runoff from recent rains. He claimed the sand bags caused his crash not him leaving the tarmac, we all know how well that usually goes, and the sandbags caused his crash. He lost in court buy the major track day provider(extremely limited calendar because of the noise complainers) had his liability insurance cancelled and I believe he said over double to reinsure

Pricey at £2m for a four bed in York but it has got floorboards on the kitchen ceiling  but is let down by Noobie style carpets 🤮

If you look to the right of the drive between the gate railings and the stairs, you will see a slight raising in the drive. That's because it is a platform that allows you to put your cars and collectables under the house into an undeground garage which is just over 56 feet by 35 feet

I've been watching a few programmes on a midlands property developer Called Guy Phoenix, he's full on but does some very nice but expensive builds. Channel 4 and you tube

Location is a bit shit, but £275,000,000 for a wreck 😮😮😮 and then refurb costs - what's the payback on that!!!
I feel a bit tight now for my offer on the apartment I just made 👀

Final look of London’s iconic BT Tower before sale to hotel chain for £275,000,000

You have access to the 50 acre estate for that - bargain

Service charge for this place is over £10k a year

There was a two bed flat for sale in York with a service charge of £10k per year 🤷‍♂️ no grounds at all but I think it had a parking space!

Here you go - the view is false from a drone obviously - the outlook isn't even that way down the river 🤷‍♂️ it's a second floor penthouse.

2 Bed 122 sq/m apartment

Yearly Service Charge £9932 - Ground Rent £250 - Total = £10,182 👀

Agents Note: Due to repair works being carried out on the building, the service charge has been £9932 per annum, this is going to £2,700 for 2025.

Still exorbitant for a 122m2 flat

Hope it doesn't need anymore repair work, it was only developed a few years ago with full scaffolding around it for a couple of years, then I noticed it covered in scaffold again last year and thought it was odd...

Won't maintaining a grade 2 listed building have a higher cost than a non grade 2 and would it reflect on major maintenance too?

It would cost more to convert and renovate to begin with as you can't cut corners or go for cheaper non-original solutions with the structure on a G2L, but once in good order ongoing maintenance shouldn't be appreciably greater. I imagine those flats are leasehold and the ground rent is a fast-track way of clawing back the conversion costs. I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a clawback clause on the leaseholder should they sell at a profit as well.

They'll have you by the baw bag in much the same way as static van park owners do when they sell you a 20 grand van for 75 grand that in effect is never really yours with no security of tenure.
