I've never taken Monster clocks to bits but on other bikes I've meddled with there is often a small screw in the end of the knob which holds it on to the shaft. It may be hidden by a blanking cap.eonan said:At the risk of looking like a complete plum at this early stage...how in the hell do I get the clock out of the holder? eonan said:Yeh...I need to get it out to send the casings off to be painted. The one on the 750 just slid in and out no problem.
I've managed to get it out only so far, but now it's well and truly stuck...won't come out and now won't go back in either![]()

by the looks you've dismantled your clutch therefore you have no way of locking up the sprocket if you are in gear. fit the clutch plates back on, springs and pressure plate, screws then wack in gear.
With plugs in, you should be able to undo the small allen screws that hold the sprocket retainer in position!
