What the feck have you done today?

TBH - im hanging on myself as its all moving so fast..... my boss is twenty years younger than me....but....as an oldie....ive got the edge....i can deal with people...pretty well got me through working life.....ive only had 6 jobs in my life inlcluding the one im in now cos im not an asshole.... (well i hope not) - time and time ive seen it again in all walks of working life.....assholes always get ejected, leave or get found out....

Yeah - ironically im fucking shit with anything scripty....my head doesnt work that way....i can read powershell stuff for example and see what someone has done and modify but if you asked me to create something from scratch...not a fucking clue....i managed to run a national exchange network back when they were on site for about 15 years (with 99% uptime) by running 80% gui and 20% plagiarized exchange powershell commands that i used to keep in a file with a lamens term for what they did.....
I could never get my head round scripting, but found when I had to use Labview it all fell in to place.

In case you’ve not heard of it, it’s a visual scripting language.

It's fookin' raining again.

Still, it's more bad news for the three Catholics left in Birmingham....

I needed to book a hotel in Poole this morning (1 night) for work, and went on the Trivago site to browse - I love the Klopp Turkish Teeth in the continuous tv ads he features in for Trivago.

Don't fall for the bullshit guys - I wanted to book the Hampton by Hilton because of it's proximity to Branksome - costs £142 on Trivago, yet same rooms on Expedia for £127.

As usual, it pays to shop around ;)

Last night I watched the Mexico vs South Africa game. You can tell some Mexicans play in Europe as they spent a lot of time falling over and making it look like their legs had been blown off after a gentle love tap from an opposition player.

A funny thing was the commentators. One of the south African players scored at 50 minutes, his name is Yaya Sithole. What followed was the commentators trying their very best to try and pronounce it in different ways rather than say it as it is.

David Hockney's death announced at the advanced age of 88 (smoking did not seem to affect his longevity).

I'm a confirmed heathen in being unable to appreciate his art, which always reminded me of a Village Art Society Annual Exhibition.

The have been some shenanigans including the death of a young assistant a few years back, and there may be a few skeletons coming out of the closet now he cannot sue.

Mexicans falling over...they could've learned it in South America - they're at least as good as the europeans
