The LC and Big Helga are twins, but not of the V type. 🤔
 
I did buy an early varadero once, mostly because the reviews and honda forums said how fantastically comfortable they were. Riding it back from Doble's in Croydon to Clacton saw me stop at Boreham in absolute agony. It was the early 5 speed smaller tank version.
 
Saw this on ebay and remember quite a few forums discussing a tl 1000 lump into a 916
