What have you done on your bike today?

Remember, when you get back on your bike, there may be oil residue still on the tyre - don't flip it on the first bend 😁
That's the thing i hate in petrol station when you pull in and there's loads of over spill next to the pump, dodgy!!

Bloody hell Wayne, when will your luck change. Chin up my old mucker.
It's the cards i've been delt to use in lifes journey, the way i look at it is there are people out there in a far more terrible place.
The show must go on, the bike is ok and i'm sure the fracture won't take to long to heal, things could of been far worse.:)

🤔

The tyres that the BM came with have finally worn out, so stole the wheels and tyres off of my old BM while I decide what to put on it.

Ditched the top box too, it doesn’t suit me or the bike, fastened an old tank bag onto the rack, it looks tons better…

…it would’ve been rude not to try it off road

Forgot to take any pictures. Soz.

This happened yesterday Wednesday at about 7 O'clock, i was on my way riding up to Tesco going through the local housing estate. There is five roundabouts and i was coming up to the second one when a car came out from the right so slowed down applying the front brake. The next thing i'm down on the deck with the back wheel of the bike pinning me to the floor, my left foot was at a strange angle, here we go again FFS!!. Anyway a bloke stopped and got the bike off me and yeah my left ankle must be fractured. The guy who stopped to get the bike off me phoned for an ambulance, he got the reply the ambulance will be 3 hours.🤪 The police and fire service turned up to clean up a load of fuel that came out of the tank. I got breathalysed as it was an rta and the result was zero.😇
It turns out i had hit some oil on the road and that's what caused it, it fucking took me by surprise that's for sure, it was a slow speed off so not much damage to the bike.🥳
I phoned my son who was at work at the docks, he knows someone with a van, so he gave them a ring to see if they could get the bike back to the garage.
The two guys turned up to collect it and my son was waiting for someone to cover his shift and someone was availible. So he turned up and he said that he will take me to a&e, i was there for 8 hours getting assesed with x rays and yes my ankle is fractured and i landed heavy on my left arm so that was x rayed and thankfully it's fine but realy swollen.
I now have to wear a boot on my leg to help the fracture heal, fucking oil!!
Holy shit bud, sorry to hear yet another thing on your plate WTF. Hope you heal up right and quick, glad there wasn't much damage to you or your bike, though fractures suck, but you already know that.

I'm out finally feeling halfway normal, decided to go out early before the temps get unbearable. Riding near the Appalachian trail is always nice and extra cool. Only excitement was a deer out in the early morning, thankfully we saw each other with plenty of notice. Stopped at the petrol station for a Coke and a smoke. Heading back via highway here in a few minutes.
