What have you done on your bike today?

That's what it's all about, the feel means everything especially in the wet and at times in the dry!! I agree the dual system is a silly idea but some people out there like it. A novelty imo like curved led TVs and touch screen bollox all blown into the weeds. :)
My pansexual has the stupid linked brakes, but since it weighs the same as a small planet I don't think it makes any difference 🤔

I had several blackbirds and a vfr800 pre vtec with linked brakes. I wouldn't say it's better than delinked but I did find once used to it, it did everything I asked from it and I never crashed or locked up on them. There is a chap called Jaws who was/is a bit like a Blackbird guru and I asked him once if de-linking was better. He said keep the linked but swap the crap rubber hoses over for stainless and with a fresh fluid change, you notice a marked improvement.

My Indian Springfield was just off a ton in weight with great handling, i never decked the floor boards on it with the time i had it . It took me at least 6 months to tame it.:)

I've locked the back up on a damp road, so much for being clever 🤣🤣

I hope they don't start fitting linked brakes on more regular bikes. You'd be buggered if you like to trail the front brake through bends.
I can sort of see why you might have linked brakes on a long heavy bike like the Pansexual. If you unweight the back end under braking things could get badly out of shape, but with much less weight and semi-active suspension keeping the chassis calm on smaller lighter bikes I can't see the point. And big heavy bikes like the Pan, other full dress tourers and heavyweights like Rocket 3s and big cruisers often feel lighter on their feet through bends if you trail a bit of rear brake.
Does the system only apply both brakes when you use the front or does the rear brake apply both as well?

On the gs it works both ends ... I trail brake the rear and it's never enough for the front to be engaged it seems more to come into play during an emergency or very heavy braking scenario on the beemers

I suppose any bike with radar cruise control will need to have them.
The thing is it's more interference, god know's how we all coped with none of this crap, i know some people do like it but i couldn't live with it. The only thing i like is a quick shifter and that's it realy. :)

On the pan it applies both brakes from either front or rear application although I think it is supposed to bias towards whichever brake is manually applied - can't say I've noticed though (apart from locking the back end 🤔)

If anyone needs rider aids mate... 🤣
I wouldn't opt for it and could do with out it, i just like the idea. I've only ever had abs that was on my Indian that didn't seem to make any differance, i still like the idea of a quickshifter!!:ROFLMAO:
