It's actually very refreshing after all the praise that the forums most aesthetically pleasing bike gets wherever it goes, to come back here for all you cheeky little monkeys having a bit of fun - you all love it I know, how can you not

Back int' 1970's you'd have turned the bike upside down and fixed it with tyre levers and a puncture repair kit. Much easier to lube the chain as well..Yesterday, we set off for Flamborough Head for a pickernick.
Stopped for a cuppa at Fimber, just down the hill from Seaways, shortly after setting off my mate on his Z1000 got a puncture, so, some of us spent the afternoon sat in a wood, waiting for another mate to come pick it up in a van.

Please please please get those Bog Eye's of yours sorted - you will never appreciate the finer thing in life when viewed from such a ridiculous mongy head
Why have you posted a 2 headed long necked sheep, was it to ween you off 1 headed long necked sheep shagging as you couldn't get to their sheep botties and did it not work as the 2 headed long necked sheep was the right height for a 2 headed long necked sheep gobble?
Oh dear, what a glimpse into your psyche! Why have you posted a 2 headed long necked sheep, was it to ween you off 1 headed long necked sheep shagging as you couldn't get to their sheep botties and did it not work as the 2 headed long necked sheep was the right height for a 2 headed long necked sheep gobble?

Took Boneshaker 1 out today to enjoy a bit of sun & blow it's cobwebs away. Ran out of fuel coming out of Buxton, heading to the Cat & Fiddle !!
Luckily my 1.5 litre bottle was full so put that in the tank & returned to Buxton to fill up !! It only has a 50-60 mile range to a tank full & I'd syphoned a bit out of it's full tank the other week when I took it in my van to get measured for it's cover. It was hot in the van & the fuel expanded so much that it started coming out of the tank breather. Anyway, I thought there was more in the tank, but obviously not, at least I didn't have to push it anywhere !!
The local plod were out with their "cash cow", (mobile camera van) !! Were they positioned at an accident blackspot ? Of course not, they had it amongst a line of parked cars, on a downhill section of the road, dropping into Buxton from Whalley Bridge, (known locally as Long Hill) where even my Boneshakers 1500cc V-twin with a closed throttle coasts at over 30mph. On a Friday too, guessing they will out in force if this weather holds for the weekend !!
Last time I went down to the reservoir & turned left they used to close the road just past the car park so you couldn't get through & up to the Cat. Guessing that might have changed now, it was a long time ago ?If you’re coming up from Whaley Bridge, when you get to the top of Long Hill, turn right and go down Goyt Lane, over the dam wall and turn left, the road becomes a one-way single track road that comes out on the Cat and Fiddle. It’s totally suitable for road bikes.
Sorry if you know this already, but if you didn’t it’d be a shame. (..and there’ll be no speed cameras)

That's marve- Wait. Not really bike per se but definitely bike related. Been kitting out my container with extra shelving and a work bench so I can get back on track with bike maintenance and get the Ducati rolling again.
Welded up an angle iron frame for the bench top that takes a 1" slab of MDF. Compressor in situ with hoses and regulator fixed to the wall. Next step a solar panel for power and lighting.
That was suggested by AN other complete with a photograph of some rusty internal engine parts he discovered in a bike that had been standing for several years. Is it not possible that the bike has been parked up for a long time in a hostile environment (Ireland) and the rust has formed on the inside?
It's free power without the involvement of Ed Willibland, and the money saved will be spent converting lovely juicy hydrocarbons into speed and noise. That's marve- Wait.
Solar panel?
You fucking Just Stop Oil terrorist. GtH!

This reminds me of my Lil 620ie monster. The only time it ever felt unsafe was on fully iced up roads, other than that , you could hammer it everywhere. Not the most thrilling of rides but a Lil champion in shit conditions.Due to a cock up in the Admin Department neither my Multi nor Monster has a current MOT so yesterday I was reduced to going out on my Winter Hack BMW F800ST.
As seemed appropriate for a Winter Hack during the ride I had a 15 mile or so stretch of heavy rain , normally that would have pissed me off but I was absolutely astonished at how confidence inspiring the little BM was in the wet. It admittedly has new Pirelli Angel tyres which must have helped but I have never ever ridden a bike that was so easy and good to ride on wet roads, I`d go so far as to say it was enjoyable. It was certainly way better than either of my Ducatis would have been, probably down to the relative lack of torque, smooth power delivery and the tyres combined.
