To be fair to Froggy 🐸 I'd take it off too, out of embarrassment. It's fookin' orrible. 🤮

Few new Rolex releases today, I’m liking the 1908 in particular, TI Yachtmaster is underwhelming but hope it’s a catalyst for a TI Daytona or Submariner in the near future.

The revised Daytona is getting some scathing comments, this summed it up for me 🤣

The Milgauss has finally been discontinued 🤔

I used to work for Cash Generator- a company which also operated other high-end pawnbroking shops with different names. These were generally in big cities like London, Manchester and Liverpool.

One day a big West Indian guy went in the Liverpool store to pawn his Rolex.

The Manager took it round the back, opened it up and found that it was fake.

He gave it back to the guy, who wouldn't believe him. He then became very irate and tried to attack the Manager (who pressed the panic alarm). He was claiming that the Manager had swapped the movement round the back and was trying to swindle him.

The Police had to arrest him

The finishing inside does look pretty scabby. 🤔

I've got 2 Rolexs, both bought new from an authorised Rolex dealer. I wouldn't be able to tell the real thing from a super clone, if buying 2nd hand, so wouldn't. 🤷‍♂️

I've been on the waiting list for about 2 1/2 years for another since I bought my last one, and I think the sales gadgee threw my name in the bin tbh, I don't fit the profile of who they want to sell to. I can't say I'm even bothered any more, I've gone right off them as a company, the way they limit supply. Don't get me started on the dealers and their shady practices.

I'm not surprised, fancy swapping the Honest Indian's movement out. Dodgy bastid. 🤪

I managed to knock accidently the OH's Omega off the kitchen side (where it most definitely should not have been left) and its dislodge the second had and two of the illuminated dots have come off

1. How much is it going to cost me
2. How much is it going to cost him :p

Not very shock proof then.

1. How hard did you throw knock it?
2. And what had he done to deserve it?

1. It caught the side of my hand and just bounced off the wall onto the quarry tiled floor
2. Left it on my limestone pastry board (which he bought me)

seriously not a malicious act I was gathering it up to move it but it was a bit slippier than expected - I did not confess at the time as didn't think it was so cheap it would break wasn't until later when he told me that he couldn't understand how it watch had got damaged that I confessed to the accident :p

Mistake 1 - dropping it.
Mistake 2 - confessing.

Always lie through your teeth - fact.

A lot unless you can find someone on an Omega Forum who you trust to repair/re-seal/return it
