Saturday Raceday. Supersport Race 1.
Michael takes his 26th win, equaling Uncle Joey. I have to say I had a tear in my eye, we were at Barregarrow Crossroads and the place erupted when he got the chequered flag.
Davey got 2nd on the Ducati which sounded awesome, Deano in 3rd.

Sidecar Race 1.
Sadly, Ben and Kevin had an incident at the Mountain Hut in Fridays practice. Both ok but the outfit couldn’t be repaired by Saturdays race, should be ok for the next one on Wednesday.
The Crowe Brothers from the Island took a very popular win, the first from a Manx person since Milky in 2002, I think.
Founds/Walmsley and Founds/Gibbons make up the podium.
Wednesdays Race 2 should be a cracker with Ben back.
Usual poor photos below…

Sunday, Raceday 2.
Superbike, 6 laps.
We were watching from the grass verge at Cronk y Voddy, I’ve watched from the end of the straight in a field but this was absolutely, f###### insane!!
Dean went past no more than a foot away, they’re probably doing 170mph at that point! Nothing prepares you for the first time you witness it!!
Michael stormed into a 25 second lead but disaster at the pits!! Something went wrong with the visor change, he had to pull in at St Ninians, take his gloves and lid off to put the visor side pod back on!!!
Pete takes the win, Davey and Deano make up the podium. Michael in 4th but breaks the Superbike lap record on the final lap, 135.970!!
Micky D will be fired up for Tuesdays Superstock and Supertwin races!!!

Loving the updates 👌

Monday is a rest day, I need it as I’m knackered…
We’ll finally get a chance to go to the pits, Bruce was on the Island yesterday as he did a parade lap for Arai.
Hopefully I’ll bump into him if he’s still about as I need him to sign my book, Bruce is like the Scarlet Pimpernel…

I was playing golf this afternoon - the last four miles or so to the club is the road between Heysham Port and the M6 - a ferry must’ve just got in because there were hundreds of bikes heading from the port.

No racing today so we went on a mooch.
Took the road from Ballaugh, through Druidale to Baldwin. This takes you up the mountain, through the mist and down to Baldwin Reservoir, stunning. The pictures don’t do it justice, well my don’t anyway.

Popped to Douglas to buy a few bits and then up to the pits.
Got Ryan and Callum Crowe in the book plus Milky. All 3 of them were friendly and approachable especially Milky.
Ryan and Callum were being dragged everywhere by the media but they still gave us a couple of minutes, top lads.
No Deano or Bruce unfortunately.
Michael was there working on his bikes though, I was going to ask him about the visor fiasco but thought better of it. He looked in good spirits though.

Meet the travelling TT marshals on hand to provide rapid emergency response at the Isle of Man

Travelling Marshals ready for action with their Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblades

The late doctor John Hinds was a legend I've sat and watched full medical lectures he gave and an unbelievable motorcycle rider.. He unfortunately passed away in Skerries doing his job providing cover for the road races there.. Unsung heroes of the racing Callender 👌
