It's a bit awkward for songs. Ozzies Bark at the moon now becomes, bark at a cylinderical object that isn't there. Nowhere near as catchy

The mission will be scrubbed due to unforeseen space weather conditions (aka Chinese components failed before the launch).

Alternative scenario:
Fake Moon fake mission to send fake spacecraft with fake crew on fake mission into fake space ends in fake disaster due to fake explosion resulting in fake casualties.

I'm disapointed in you Loz...I didn't think you would resort to the tactic of linking genuine concerns with others...bundling them together to try and make the original concern appear as unlikely as the ones you add.
Like that other chap on here who does it, bundling concerns over the moon landings with flat earthers. The only one making that link AFAIK is them.
And others like to add shite like 'Elvis is alive and well and living with Hitler on a converted bus on the moon' when trying to dismiss subjects.
Piss poor.

Anyway, we have the equipment to watch this all the way to the moon uninterupted right? You can buy cameras that will do it. So I expect that this time, the moon-landings-were-real folk will shut the rest of us up by videoing it. SImple. Like they do with rockets that go to and from the ISS. Oh hang on....scrub that.

Of course, they won't be able to film it landing though...because we can't do that any more.

Yes, China has photographed the lunar landing sites, with their Chang'e probes capturing images showing remnants of the Apollo missions, alongside similar evidence from India, Japan, and NASA's LRO, confirming the historic landings and disproving conspiracy theories. China's Chang'e 2 orbiter even spotted traces of the Apollo landings, and more recently, other nations' orbiters have imaged these sites, showing descent stages and astronaut footprints, proving human activity there.

Err, just a minor correction. Elvis and Hitler aren’t living together anymore. They had an argument over whether the Holocaust actually happened or not. Couldn’t reconcile their differences apparently so Elvis moved out. He’s now living with Lord Lucan in the old ‘Eagle’ space landing thingymabob that NASA left up there.

I know this is true coz I read about it on the Internet.
