Are you suggesting that he destroyed NASA with this "revelation"?So by throwing NASA under the bus...that's his way of keeping his job?
Are you suggesting that he destroyed NASA with this "revelation"?
What do you believe the purpose of NASA is in the modern era?
So "throwing NASA under the bus" has no downside, suits the narrative and has had no negative effect on Don himself. HmmNo, because they're still here.
Disinformation...controlling narratives, and syphoning vast amounts of money from US taxpayers as a laundry service for black ops. Pretty much the same as they've always done.
So "throwing NASA under the bus" has no downside, suits the narrative and has had no negative effect on Don himself. Hmm
Anyway. So what you're saying (thanks, Cathy) is that, back in the day. the technologically incompetent NASA successfully hoodwinked not just the American public, it fooled the intelligence services of the USSR as well?
Or was the USSR in the 60s and 70s also in on the grift?
That is a bold claim and I look forward to reading more on that.
If you were the USSR...or say China...do you think there is more value in using the knowledge that the moon landings...hell, even the flights were a lie, to their advantage in perpituity; or in calling them a bunch of bare faced liars?
America and the USSR also buddy up on the ISS mullarky, whatever that really is. A clever move by the US to entrap other nations in teh lie.
If you go along with the moon landings, and NASA once being genuine, then you accept that they created the technology to do so within ten years of JFK instructing them to do so....that is less time than has passed since Don claimed they'd lost it.
The purpose of NASA now is two-fold and is the same as the purpose of every modern incarnation of a "great institution".Going back to your question earlier; What do you believe the purpose of NASA is in the modern era?
The latter, definitely.
The Space Race was a propaganda war first and foremost. The prestige, faith and confidence of each nation, USA & USSR, was entirely invested in the perceived prize - a Man on the Moon.
Have you any idea the effect the Sputnik event - a satellite orbiting the Earth!! - was on the American psyche? And then Gagarin, aboard Vostok 1? The Sky was almost literally falling.
The stakes could hardly have been higher, to get a man on the Moon. A crushing win for the Americans and a crushing defeat for the Soviets. You think that the Soviets would have weighed trashing America's faith in its leaders and in itself against "future blackmail material" and chosen the latter? They'd as soon said, "Let the Americans have First Strike with nukes, we will win bigly with subsequent public sympathy."
The ISS and the Moon landings are apples & pears - or are you suggesting the ISS is also fake?
Humans were once pretty smart. When you combined those smarts with a will to do smart things, well... really smart shit happens.
Risk aversion these days is one of the biggest factors that affects all human endeavours and space flight is one of those endeavours. The risks that NASA took and their astronauts took - one unexpected Solar Particle Event pretty much ends the life of each astronaut - won't be taken now. The pressures of a Cold War with a nuclear power don't exist in that way or at least, don't impact decisions regarding space exploration.
The purpose of NASA now is two-fold and is the same as the purpose of every modern incarnation of a "great institution".
It is a placeholder for former glory or competence (the alternative is to disband it, which sends the wrong message).
It seeks to use whatever prestige and influence it retains in order to promote the Globalist agenda.
You know that, right?
Not buying it...the Ruskies are chess players...they play the long game. Hence we are now finding out who really won the cold war.
Yes, oh yes.
Optics? If it was risk aversion, why not say that instead of 'we destroyed that technology'?
Life is precious or rather, the perception of treating life as precious, is precious. And test pilots don't usually have two or three-man crews. And anyway, life isn't that precious...planes still have test pilots; countries have airforces aimed at blasting each other out of the sky....
You say those risks won't be taken now; so you don't believe the ISS is real either then, so we agree on that.
The Ruskies who were playing for keeps in the 70s are not the Ruskies playing for keeps nowadays. Not by a long chalk. The Cold War, assuming it wasn't some elaborate manipulation, was existential. It wasn't what we see these days - billionaires competing against or cooperating with each other.
Besides, the communists intent on destroying the West then are not architects of what is currently happening. I detect no continuity between the Soviet Regime and the globalists plaguing us in the modern era, even if they share some goals and some methodologies. The communists/globalists are home-grown, not Soviet legacies.
I'm not entirely certain how to proceed at this
point
Optics?
You understand the difference between saying, "Oops, we can do that now as we forgot how" and "Whoa, no way, tooooo scary!" right?
Life is precious or rather, the perception of treating life as precious, is precious. And test pilots don't usually have two or three-man crews.
Shooting down the enemy is a noble pursuit.
A multi-billionaire dollar failure that ends in lives lost is worse than a tragedy, is a cluster-fuck PR nightmare.
Again - an ISS is not the same as a Moon landing. There are orders of difficulty and multiples of expenditure involved.
OK, on this issue, I'm fencing with a puddle of water.I remind you of my earlier comment on them being chess players...they know how to play the long game.
Well I will change my mind if you can show me evidence to the contrary. Evidence that can be shown to be beyond doubt.
Yes - one makes everyone think WHAT??? You lost that technology and can't replicate it with todays knowledge?
And the other sounds like a fairly reasonable assertion given the Challenger disaster (? but that's another tangent).
On the contrary - test flights (of commercial aircraft) often carry multiple crew, as well you know.
Didn't stop them killing Gus Grisom et al.
There's one way in which they're the same![]()
My Dad is part of the conspiracy.“I guess we all have some issue we are immune to reason on, or somehow emotionally attached to it. It's fine.“
You know, in my previous post I nearly suggested maybe your Pops worked for NASA, or you?
Oh India…now there was a moon landing beyond any question![]()
But had I taken a photo with the exact same telephoto lens lemgth (322mm) later in the night and we measured it, it would be the same. It’s the brain playing tricks. No it doesn't as it looked big in your picture![]()
So our thumbs are in on the hoax, too?But had I taken a photo with the exact same telephoto lens lemgth (322mm) later in the night and we measured it, it would be the same. It’s the brain playing tricks.
Next time hold your thumb up to the sky and so the full moon on the horizon sits on your thumb, then do the same at midnight, you’ll see the moon remains the same size in relation to your thumb.
@NoGutsNoHingesGoat please change a few more user names to unhinged. Thanks in advance.

How do we know that, you could be in on it.............But had I taken a photo with the exact same telephoto lens lemgth (322mm) later in the night and we measured it
you've convinced me! Now none of it makes sense! What more proof do you need! How do we know that, you could be in on it.............![]()
Paul keeps holding his thumb up to the moon but his arm is bent differently each tine or his thumb is slowly throbbingyou've convinced me! Now none of it makes sense! What more proof do you need!
Next you'll be telling me that is how the tides are influenced! By rule of thumb!Paul keeps holding his thumb up to the moon but his arm is bent differently each tine or his thumb is slowly throbbing![]()
YesDoes he have a graph?![]()

You can't argue with a graph.
Case closed.
No you can't argue with a graph...that's up there with the strongest of evidence.
It certainly trumps the Van Allen radiation belts; diverging shadows; magic photographic film; lost evidence; intergalactic phone calls, and all that other nonsense![]()
