The Midgie Masher Flypast Run (22-24 August)

Hey up you Yorkshire laddies, this lone Cumbrian masherrite wants to know what time you'll be trundleing through Kendal on Friday morning.I'm guessing 10:30 ish if your planning 11:00 am at Penrith. See you at the Rugby club same as last year (RJ and Sticky).Owt differn't let me know that'll be grand!
I'm currently tightening m'e nuts in preparation,oww!!

Yep..RJ is organising it from Harrogate...keeps him out of trouble. See you Friday:beer:

reminds me of a BAD joke - why is wee yellow and semen white? so the irish can tell whether they're coming or going........

right, I'm off now.....

Right, just spent ages reading through all the posts since I last visited this thread (like 1/2hr!!)
I'll be coming along on 4 wheels, however, I'll have two extra wheels behind me with two more on top of that!!!! ...confused? me to! :p
I'm not gonna ride all the way from here, even though it's far less of a distance than alot of you are travelling. I just don't need to therefore I'm not. Got a nice new trailer so I want to test it out, besides, if I get thrown out of the hostel for farting too loudly, and the ladies won't let me into Edwina's bed, then I can at least kip in the truck!!! :p
I'm bringing along a spare BBQ (no that's not the new name for the Imola's reg/rec) just incase we can't get enough meat on the others. I'm also thinking of bringing along a foot or so of award winning Lorne Sausage for the likes of Davie Ravie to get his teeth around. Might even through one of each of Haggis and Black. see what you all think of my B&B food - even though it no longer does business!!!!
I'll be there for 9 ish in order to unload the bike and give it a quick clean before getting it covered in flies!!!

Looking forward to this one alot!!! :)

Sitting offshore reading this thread.
SICK AS A PARROT:cry:   that I cannot make it.
Will have to get my shifts changed for next year.
Hope you all have a blast & I look forward to reading the reports & viewing the photies on the forum.
Will also look out for you all on REPORTING SCOTLAND as I am sure someone is bound to make the news & local press.
Again, HAVE A GREAT TIME.

I was thinking more along the lines of "Drunk & abusive to Jap owners, while under the influence of a good malt":)

Back to Basics - my lot - we'll need to leave Harrogate at 0900. We have pickups in Leyburn, Kendal, Penrith. Get to my house rather than at shop. Ducati Glasgow later to meet SS Al and possibly others at about 1500 - tea (milk no sugar) and biscuits, please Martin. :D :D :D

ps - weather looking good tomorrow - Saturday, rain coming in later, we need to get an early start....Sunday OK-ish.

She who must be obeyed has hinted at the potential for a few hours freedom on Saturday, having trawled through this thread I'm sure I saw a rough plan of the route but cant find it now.
So, for the day release lot, what's the route on saturday, with approximate timing?, hopefully I'll be able to intercept you somewhere along the route.

Well, I was on Skye all day the day and what a contrast, the weather on the west side was amazing, dry, sunny and warm while in Portree and Broadford it was as sh1te as the rest of Scotland!!! :)

What time are people planning to leave on saturday morning?? I'm coming up from Glasgow just wanting to how early i need to leave. Or what time to people expect to be @ tarbet so I can catch up with you guys.

Cheers

 Can you give me an early morning call:D

Looks like you and me - I'll be at the Ripley roundabout just after 0900. We're headed for Leyburn, Hawes etc. Be ready to rock. See the rest of you lot at the appointed places. Kendal will be more like 1030ish TBH.
