Off on Monday?

Good day was had by all, I've got more pics but I'm too tired to resize them all tonight so will do it tomorrow.

Yep. A jolly good old blast that was !. And to have the Desmosedici roaring along with us too. Fantastic. The Laggan road must be one of the top biking roads in Europe, not that there was much wrong with the rest of today's route.

After leaving Dalwhinnie we took the old A9 from Calvine (virtually empty) down to Pitlochry, then Sma' Glen and Gleneagles.

Sure beats cutting the grass on a superb Bank Holiday Monday :D

No-one could hear the 'sedici David - there was some bugger with open pipes on his GT1000 drowning everything else out!!

Hi,
Got home around 8pm. Great day etc etc . Don't think Scott would have appreciated by slight detour via some farmroads when heading from Pitlochery to Aberfeldy. My bike's covered in mud and some straw.

Geoff

Put a meter across the battery, set to read DC volts. With the engine running it should read between 13.5V and 14.5V. Alternatively as a rough indication, with the headlight on you should see it brighten slightly when you rev the engine from tickover speed.
That was a funny carry on with the jump leads and these guys in the Range Rover last at Broxden last Thursday - got you all started though :p :D

Thanks for the suggestions Derek, fairly certain it was the battery, had it out and tried charging it, just wasn't taking charge, plus the run from Perth home should have boosted it enough to be sitting still for a couple of days.

Alls well that ends well though, as the MV was a blast on Monday.;) ;) :D :D

A big blast and a social weekend in some of Scotland’s best scenery !.

As well as being a stunningly scenic piece of high-mileage fly-swatting, it’s clear from the last couple of years’ Mashers that including an overnight stop and the chance to socialise is popular so the plan for this year’s Masher is as follows :-

Meet up on the Friday evening at Glencoe for some pre-Masher banter and beers
All-day Saturday west coast run
Saturday evening socialising at Glencoe
Head for home on Sunday by our favourite scenic routes

Please get you name down if you are taking part !

Watch the events section of the forum for details. RSVP'd Yes: 22

Cracking ride yesterday  Have to agree with the comments about the Laggan to Dalwhinnie road - amazing! The old A9 was good as well, I'll definitely be giving both a return visit later this summer.
