Need Your Opinions Please

I can see what's going to happen here - designed by a committee. It'll end up looking like a pig's breakfast :D

:D No...my minds made up...it's going to be the turquoise/teal whatever that colour is! Actually, does anyone know the coating code for that colour?

So...you've seen the vision...thought you might like to see the reality  (Yes, it's the same photo from August...erm...because it ain't changed much since then :o )

I think a few have been "blowing powder" from some of the suggestions! Not on the frame but up their nose!:lol2: :lol2: :lol2: Niall, I'm siding now with Derek, do your own thing mate.;)

Well the frame colours sorted, what's the tank colour gonna be, think you should go with white and a green stripe big man ;) :D

Actually on second thoughts, I was never interested in creating something truely original for originalities sake! The turquoise is nice right enough, but I'd be bored with it in a month! Plus there's maybe something a little too 'pretty' about it...the Monster is a modern (well almost) streetfighter, not a replica bike.

OK, so the burnt orange isn't very original, it's been done before, but I really love that colour scheme, and as it's going to be me sitting on the thing, I want to be sitting on something I'm truely proud of, no matter what anyone else thinks.

Tam...you say a green stripe? Dunno if you were taking the p*ss there, but actually I reckon either green, red or blue would look pretty sweet.

So...deep, burnt orange it is...for 2007 anyway ;)

You'll be fine sat on the bike but it's us that have to look at it

You'll love it...I promise! If in the flesh everyone thinks it's sh*te, then it'll just give me something to do next winter...bloody philistines :p

For goodness sake, now that he's made a decision can we please now all agree that this is the best colour scheme? I've actually lost track of what the final scheme is but I am sure this is the right one! I am having nightmares about monsters with green frames, pink tanks, blue stripes, white slipper clutches........so whatever it is I LOVE IT!!:D

Heheheh...yeh sorry, that's my fault. It's like the 'Alchemist'...I need to go through this process until I arrive back at the answer I knew in my heart all along :D

Burnt orange frame with pearl white tank...I think :scratchhead: :D ...heheheh no seriously. Not sure what the detailing on the tank will be, but I don't have to worry about that just yet...it's just that the frame is going to the coaters next week so needed to make a decision on that.

And if it looks sh*t...I'll change it!

Martin...do you guys get a discount at EPS? I've got 8 pieces here to be coated...frame, swing arm, headlamp brackets, suspension loop etc and will take any financial help I can get :D

Or what about these?
I thought you'd made your mind up
That white frame looks minging. You'd never end cleaning it either.
What happened to the burnt orange then? and that tank looks yellow :puke:

For f*ck sake...use your imagination :p :p I was just trying out using the burnt orange on the tank instead of the frame...I'll go back to photoshop and burn it some more ;)

OK...I swear this is the last! The only thing I need a decision on now is the frame...everything else I know. You'll really have to use your imagination here, but the tank and cowl are going to be like the photo (only without the words HM Plant).

What should the frame be? I was thinking simply black, but open to any other suggestions :)

Imagination? I thought it was a well known fact that I have none ;) but even I can make orange look like orange with Photoshop :p

Here you are then - Orange and Turquoise Monster. I'll see if I can work the HM Plant colours on the tank.

Ooooh look at you Mr Smarty :p :p OK then...remember though the tank will be predominantly white. Oh and loose the front mudguard...and the swing arm is black, as are the engine covers and exhaust (headers and cans)...and the wheels are gold marchesini's ;)

I just don't know about this whole turquoise thing. I agree it does look very nice, but that's the point...I feel much of the attitute of the bike is lost!

Try it with a black frame...reckon it'll look sweet!

This is the best I can do in my lunch break. You'll have to unbolt the mudguard yourself. It should have one anyway!

I prefer Derek's version cos it has round wheels wheras Niall's are octagonal. Think the handling could suffer unless round! :p
