N W Winter warmer. r u interested

We check out the final 2 possible venues tonight that are suitable for guest speaker without upsetting other diners (i.e. private function room) along with late night drinking, good food and beds for the night, so decision made tonight.

Slight delay in organising this brought about by catastrophic events that i cannot go into publicly at the moment.

Spoke to Whit today and he's still on for it.

Martyn,

In answer to you questions, anyone can attend but places are strictly limited currently around 60, Shaun will send out further details later but we expect this to sell out quickly due to the numbers, the guest speaker plus hopefully one or two other things.

All I would say is that until you've returned your booking forms with full payment you're not guaranteed a spot.

OK folks we can use second choice venue on the 13th, but by far the best choice venue is only available on the 6th. Its a really nice hotel, and the head chef is Italian and very very enthusiastic, plus one of his staff rides a Ducati as well. So looks as if its gonna be the 6th of Jan which also conicides with the bike show at GMEX in Manchester.

We are trying to plan a special surprise (Jon won't be invited:D ) as well.

The event is open to absolutely everyone except Newcastle supporters and Lily who is in charge of administration coz she can type betta then me will post the final details and booking forms asap. It will be full payment upfront coz which ever venue we use they want payment in full prior to the do and if we commit to numbers and we have no shows, we end up paying for the meal.

ITS GONNA BE A CRACKING NIGHT.

I looked on the DSC site but it's been down since yesteray.

DCR you've got it wrong - whatever you were doing on the 6th, you now can't make! ;)
