Knockhill 2010 dates out

Just received my email from Knockhill with 2010 dates. Any one else feel that £175 (£190 on the day!) is just taking the @@@@ a wee bit...?

I know that diesel for the van to go down south (and with like 2 track days or something at Croft next year, I mean SOUTH) etc adds up to a more expensive overall track experience, but £190!!!

Smells a bit of taking advantage of a captive market. But then, if they sell them all out, we deserve what we get.

As for it being more expensive as it is open pitlane..... I LIKE doing 20 mins every hour. And where is the extra expense coming from? Diesel for the ambulance?

Ouch! I remember paying a fiver to the old bloke in the caravan. No marshalls, no ambulance and a bit of snow. Aye, those were the days.

It is now getting VERY expensive. Can get 3 days in Portimao, including hotel and bike shipping for £699.
Captive market is exactly what it is.

Not as if the track is that great. Needs to extended by at least 1/2 mile, with some left handers added in.

Totally agree guys you can do Donnington for 155 the full day a magic curcuit.

no arguement from me, forgetting the awesome Spanish cicruits this year I did Cadwell, Oulton and Donnington. Motorsport Vision circuits are awesome and leave knockhill miles behind. I like the Knockhill Circuit but the facilty is a national disgrace, charges more than any other circuit and provides less.... but then again, does it get the numbers to justify ?? Easy from me to criticise but I don't know the full facts.

Just pulled a wee credit report... seems to have a good credit rating and a net worth of £574k (Sep 08), assuming of course that Knockhill Racing Circuit Ltd is the main company. Profitable, but doesn't seem to making fortunes which tells it's own story on Scottish Motorsport and future investment.

As long as they are getting 50 bikes in the morning and 50 bikes in the afternoon, they will see no need to reduce the price.

Stick at least another 1/2 mile, or better still 3/4 mile to the track, to take it to over 2 miles per lap and it would be better.

Last day i did there, did about 100 laps, so nearly £2. Plus you have fuel, tyres, transportation costs on top of that.
