My Chinese name is way long... make of that what you will....
You take too long to make a decision? Get Jabbed, make Bridget's Christmas. .. pssst you don't have to admit to it on here, but don't lie to yer girl, she's way too special and rare. ...

Mine Chinese name was Wangway TooLong, for the short time girls.

You have Chinese names :unsure::eek:

That's cultural appropriation dudes, wait till I tell them on DF

Back on topic :ROFLMAO: just think if these insulate Britain clowns could read and see things like this and lobby MP's to consider proper solutions - oh yeah, it's them Scotch fekkers, what do they know..... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

That's worrying Barry, this bit

The heat pump converts the latent heat from the river into low-temperature hot water, which is distributed via a 1.5km district heat network serving the 23-hectare development. It will eventually serve 1,200 homes, and the associated infrastructure needed to support them, such as health centres and commercial facilities.

If it's a low level heat when they have it, won't it be cold by the time it arrives at the homes? it's a bit like ordering a big mack for delivery, they're always cold when they arrive

If you are taking heat from an area, by converting latent heat, are you leaving behind an area of cold, or an area that will be readily subject to cold?

How will this affect the local environment and climate?

I mean, if 0.0fuckoff01% extra atmospheric CO2 can affect the global climate, surely reconfiguring the world's heat map on a massive scale will have a similar undesired effect?

The latent heat is transferred and then converted from low level heat to high level heat - just pop your big mac under your arse for 5 mins :ROFLMAO:

Indeed, the water return temperature is 3 degrees K (C) cooler - icebergs on the Clyde, total farce lets just make Hydrogen from methane 😜

A really well thought out project.
We need more of these across the whole planet.

Please note you cannot destroy* energy nor heat..... it just moves from one place to another.

The need of insulation within the M25 is very slight, given that it is the warmest part of the UK. There is a far higher need in colder places, like Newcastle. I suggest disrupting a Newcastle v Liverpool match. I'm sure that the paying fans would take it on the chin without a murmur. That I would pay to see!

Oi !

I used / viewed three M25 junctions this morning, early.
Very heavy Police presence, waiting to leap into action.
Jct 15 to 13.
Coming back took another route and it was solid (red on TomTom) for about 25 miles.. Chertsey to M40+
