First review of the 1098R

Wouldn't really call it an interview, Nic. They used all my pics and done their own write up, I think I was quoted once.

The Glasgow herald have done a better write up I think :)
 
Having already seen the 1098R at Milan and at the facory, plus Charlie from DL enthusiastically clueing me in about the Pros and Cons between 1098R and a Desmo D16RR I decided that the 1098R was in the long run the way forward (at least for me anyway). I'm excited and await its arrival and glad that I've not had as long to wait as Scottish has for his Desmo. Although the 1098S Tricolore is a great bike I still think that there will be a big step up between them... The more I hear about the 1098R and how good it is the more patient I have to be.. Don't really care about the negatives.. :0)

Could be looking at my next steed unless a lovely neighbour of mine decides to part with his latest aquisition for a few pennies :cool:
 
:D Sell it to me and buy an Alfa Ducati ;) Even Clarkson said everyone should own an Alfa at least once in their life :p So do I hire a tranny van for the pennies ? :lol2:

Then again he doesn't have whats in your garage :cool: I'm even sleeping with the windows open so I can hear it when you fire it up , her indoors is freezing ;)

It meant that I had a little envy for those who have already ridden it and as I already had a 1098S Tricolore this will be great for now.

Anyway now that you finally have your RR after a 6 year wait you did come across somewhat smug. Hence me typing it....

I'm still missing the bit where I was smug? I did say "hang in there fella" which I thought was a show of some more support, but it looks like you've misconstrued it somehow. Have you dropped your bike and banged your head or something?

I would get my dad, but they've both been burried for 35 years and 5 years respectfully...

Anyway its not CLS its CSL.. Here grandpa maybe you need the opticians old man.. I don't need or require your support !!!
