It’s that time of the year where I have my retina scanned.

They’ve changed and improved the procedure!

Gone are the days of the two drops, the first painful drop, to make the second more painful drop less painful; to now a doubly painful single drop, but it doesn't irritate for as long and your eye gets back to normal faster.
Bizarrely they’ve changed the eye clinic into a fire station, while the nearby fire station is being refurbed, that’s Sheffield shitty council for you.
Anyhoo, years ago I convinced MrsSharper, that after the procedure I need to be constantly supplied with Tea and Jammie Dodgers in a darkened room whilst wearing sunglasses and quietly getting toasted and here we are. Bloody hell, look at the time, I was going to tell you about an idea I had about 3D printers and how they could save the world, if everyone that had one, printed two more and gave them to their neighbours, but the idea fell apart when I realised it was all down to who held the resources.

Sorry for the ramble, as you were. X

I know there are a few of us on here that own bicycles as well as motorbikes. My bicycles don`t have any rear suspension, this never used to bother me in the slightest until I tried a bike that did have it at which point it suddenly came the most important thing to have . Immediately.
I can`t justify getting another bike as I only ride a few hundred miles a year and good bikes are not cheap but I was pointed in the direction of a seat suspension post and last week bought the very fabulously named Cane Creek Thudbuster ! Its a very simple thing ( like most of us) takes half a minute to fit and works blindingly well. I can use it on either bike so IMO a very cheap effective fix. It comes in 2 sizes and can be adjusted to cover a range of weights from Ethanopian to Lard Arse .

Behold the THUDBUSTER :-

Bicycles?
Just waiting for @Barry Hell to tell us it`s a bit gay.
I don`t care though, I`ve been cycling since I was a toddler and have always enjoyed it. I cycle mainly off road, never wear cycling gear, always jeans or shorts depending on the weather. I never ride in groups of more than 2 and always single file . I fell off in a muddy puddle yesterday and then to make matters worse the pub I planned to stop at for beer & chips now closes on Tuesday afternoons.

You're having to make a lot of justifications there....

You know don't you...I don't think we need to wait for Larry 😊
