My Monster usually takes around 13 litres when I refill and presume £1.35 a litre so £17.55 to fil up and I get roughly 140miles which is 12.5 p per mile.Jaysus near 6 1/2 sovs a litre 29 sovs a gallon, little outta my league

If I use 12.675 litres of E5 that is £17.11 and .325 litres of good stuff @ 4.80 a litre as that I what I paid the total is £18.67 but I managed 160 miles per tank so 11.66 p per mile so it`s actually cheaper as well as being better.

Been playing with a VFR800 with front end, brake issues and electrical gremlins, should keep me out of mischief for a bit.
Its an early RC46 with Hondas linked brake system, what a fucken arse, I sure there's more junk involved than the similar system when I had my Blackbird!

Problems with the linked braking system usually result in the rear brake sticking so hopefully your all good with sticky pistons up front

Another great ride around Exmoor yesterday with a gang from across the country (the furthest set off from Norfolk at 5 in the morning and had covered 280 miles before we set off) others came the day before and had a hotel for 2 nights.

Yesterday. Called in at the Nook cafe and there was a Covette owners club meet going on. Nice cars. Nice people too. The forums most aesthetically pleasing bike drew a lot of attention.

Had a bit of a race on the way home with some kind of Porsche. Trying to figure out what it was. I thought it said Spyder on the back but I didn't get close enough. There were no exhaust pipes visible and it made no noise when he floored it but it didn't look like any of their electric range. Looked like a 911 Carrera. It went like absolute stink. Acceleration was ballistic. But the bloke driving it was a cock. He was stuck behind a convoy of old farts in hatchbacks when I caught up with him and was itching to get past, nosing out on blind bends, crests and all sorts. When he got a chance he pinned it, very nearly clipping the tail of the first car. They were all nose to tail with no gaps to get into so the Porsche driver just kept going and overhauled about seven cars just before a blind bend. I was waiting for a head-on. He did it again further down the road. He's either going to end up dead or in jail. On the plus side, when he floored it up an overtaking lane I did manage to hold on to him on the Diavel, but only just and I couldn't match his corner speed.
