Not yours is it Jim?

Following on from the posts a couple of weeks ago where I mentioned I`d added approx 2.5% 103Ron fuel to the tank of my old Monster I`ve now used a couple of tanks full which I appreciate is not exhaustive testing but so far as well as the much improved performance I already mentioned I`m also getting much better mpg. Usually the low fuel warning light comes on at around 130-140 miles which = 46-50mpg. Now I`m getting to 160-165 so close to 60mpg. I may try upping the % to 5 next time to see how it goes , I`ll probably never have to refill it ever again !
I`ve not tried any in my 1200 Multi yet as I`ve not been using that but will do probably next week.
I finally managed a few miles on the 1200 Multi with a little of the 103 ron fuel added. I stuck to 2.5% so the same ratio as the Monster . Based on the roughly 100 miles covered the difference is just as noticeable and gave the bike a much more crisp and smooth throttle response and a real kick at high rpm. Too early to comment on mpg but as far as I can tell and based on several hundred miles on the 2 bikes I can`t think of a cheaper or easier way to improve your bike. All subjective and just how the bikes feel to me but I wonder if when bikes are tested by the factories they use top quality fuel, no Ethanol present so quite likely the better fuel just maximises the bikes as they are as opposed to adding power or torque .
My only caveat is that if your bike or car has a cat fitted make sure you buy lead free fuel.

Where and what cost is the 103 cocker?
😵‍💫.

Did I mention we don’t do ethanol in our fuel 😄
