TIL that b is slightly mad. ( cue jokes about she must be if she is with me)..
But she was off sick today and I worked around the house and nursed her back to health...
Anyhu, I've just made dinner and asked if she sorted a movie for tonight , she has, apparently it's something staring Samuel l Morgan freeman...

Scientists have shown that the moon is moving away at a tiny, although measurable distance from the earth every year.

If you do the maths, you can calculate that 85 million years ago the moon was orbiting the earth at a distance of about 35 feet from the earth's surface.

This would explain the death of the dinosaurs.

The tallest ones, anyway.

Today I learned that Matthew Perry (RIP) was a true hero.

He may have been famous for his role in friends - most will know that. He suffered from alcohol and substance addiction, but managed to kick it. He wanted to be remembered as 'not the guy from friends but someone that helped people'

Little did he know that he became a true hero under the age of 15 when he was a schoolboy in Ottawa, Canada where he did some not so good things like drinking and stealing money.... He also beat up Justin Trudeau beer 🍻 what a fucking real life hero and a true loss to the human race 🙂‍↕️ RIP Matthew Perry, we need more like you
 
Lots of different interpretations of what the term "universal constant" means but TIL the true definition.

It is a universal constant that you will keep "finding" an item, time & time again, while you are looking for something else - keep finding it for years on end in fact. However, that item will disappear a few months before the occasion when you discover that you need it for some reason. At that point, no amount of searching will uncover it from wherever it is hiding.

*This* is the universal constant..
