Roof helmets

There's no drop down tinted visor which I'm not bothered about as on all my previous helmets, I've not got on with them...whilst handy for a second or two if turning into low sunlight, every one has been slightly blurry.

It comes with a tinted visor 'for racing', and a clip on UCDD. And cary bag..and carry rucksack!

It feels suitably snug, and you can tell it's light when on. Just hope it works well on the bike.View attachment 75974
Also just bought one of these from SortsBikeShop.com - size M59 as the M58 was way too tight, squashed my ears, and I couldn't get sunnies on/in - so my head looks fekin huge in it! Was looking at a new Arai (M58 has always fit - have three) but wanted something with red on and similar to the colour/style of my old Arai; BUT some dimwit at Arai has decided that every red is actually orange and we all need to look like spotty teenagers at an '80's 250 meet! So saved myself around £300 and got this. Sweet! Good post Dox. (y)
:D
P.S. will also not suffer from 'helmet hair'... at least not in the traditional sense! 🤣

How have you got on with it @KevB ?

I like mine - weirdly riding my Supersport it feels loose at high speeds, but at the same speeds or more on my Speed Triple it's fine.

I lost a fair bit of weight after getting it and that's why it started to feel loose. The more upright position on the Triumph must be more aerodynamically suited to the helmet.

I'd defo buy another.

Quite pleased with it. Very comfy and very light, but the extra shell size means it feels like a sail to me when sat up. I think I should have persevered with the smaller shell size tbh. I also think it has got a bit looser. But the quailty is very good so would try another.

I like the wide field of view, I may have to try one next time I'm shopping for a helmet.

I have a pair of Bell Race Star helmets that I find awesome. The best and worst feature is the Provision shield (not available in EU). No need for an inner tinted shield or having to wear shades. Con, it's either open, closed/locked, or just resting on the snap/lock which is practically closed.

After head butting a white van with my Shoei:( that got cracked i bought a LS2 FF805 Thunder GP Carbon, it's really light and has a huge field of vision and the cooling vents work a treat. It's also FIM approved as some of the riders in Motogp, WSBK and BSB use them, i even noticed some riders using them in this years Isle of Man TT, i'm happy with it.(y)
