What have you done on your bike today?

At Kitchen Garden coffee shop @ Berkeley Castle. Testing sending pictures on their WiFi

And doesn't work either!!!

Is my WiFi at home 🏡 special, somehow, or am I just an idiot?

No need for an answer!

So the challenge - MY challenge - is to post a picture from my phone using public Wi-Fi. And if it works using a Wi-Fi were it has not failed before then, erm, errrrrrm, dunno really:confused:

But the good thing is that there will not be any changes of mind on bike that I am going to get with my compo. IT WILL BE A Ducati Monster - err probably, possibly, maybe - no, for it is a decided done deal!

If getting your leg over on the SP is an issue on the seat, they do a lower one in the options section.

Yes, I noticed that. When I tried getting on and off one in the showroom, I don't recall that to be a problem, but when I am in a position to buy, I will visit the showroom again to double-check. All I really remember was how flipping light the bike was! Really, I would like detachable paniers, like I got for the KTM, but Ducati don't do them. I have not yet looked into aftermarket stuff. None of it is a game changer, though. My old Monster didn't have panniers and I went touring in Europe at least twice, and I don't think seat height was an issue when I tried one in Bridgewater.

You can get them for the Supersport S, but at £17,405 all-in, that may be a bit too tasty!!

A decision has been made - Ducati Monster SP from Riders :D
OR

Does anyone know why this and the Senna are 2 Kg lighter than the rest of the Monster variants. Since low weight is my big requirement, I would be interested to know. Yes, I could ask Riders, but they are shut today!!!

Don't get too excited .. I sense a change of mind may occur some time soon...
No, it WILL be a new Monster. Just not sure of the type, yet.

I want to know why there is this weight difference, with the Senna and Anniversario 2 Kg lighter than everything else

And also, I still have my doubts on whether I really will be allowed the money, or whether it will be controlled by some responsible adult, who will certainly not let me have the money for a motorbike. Although one eggspurt tells me that I will die soon (so just enjoy the money) another tells me that I will live to be a senile, old, bed wetter, who will need twenty-four hour care, that has to be paid for.

Making a big deal of my head injury may of increased my compo, but it has well and truly come back to bite me in the ass! Five months after agreeing a settlement with the other side, the High Court has come to my poor, brain-damaged aid, by sticking all the papers in a locked filing cabinet, and throwing away the key! The nasty feckers!

I dunno who to be most angry with - the High Court or my solicitor (who is celebrating by going on holiday!). I think that I would of taken half the amount we "won" if it had been paid immediately. Instead, I have been plunged into a World of uncertainty because it was decided that making me wait for five years was nowhere near long enough. I will stilll have the means to buy the basic Monster model from my own money, as I know that I don't need to try and keep self-sifficient forever. I've had at least three Monsters that have all been the base model, as that was all I could afford, and I was quite happy with that!

Serious question..have you been riding your KTM? Because I cannot see the point if it is a bit beyond you at the moment…
It may well be be beyond me, but I am just getting a new Monster out of sheer bloody-mindedness!

My old one was destroyed , written off, and I never saw it again. And then, although the Police agreed that the accident was not my fault and prosecuted the driver (who just pleaded guilty, as she didn't give a rat's arse!) I had five year's of shit from the insurance company of the car driver, coming out with all sorts of shit, saying that I couldn't prove that is was me riding the bike, I was unsafe and a speed merchant. It wasn't until the other driver's prosecution was finished, that the Police could release their report to me, saying that it was all the other driver's fault and that i wasn't speeding. That made them go quiet and wait for the three year deadline to began court action loomed that they threw in the towel and agreed that it was all their fault.

I think that I now realise that they always knew that they were in for a big spanking - even before I got the Police report - so they concentrated on pulling all sorts of shit in order to make me want to give up. It was not until they realised that I am an uncooperative, persistent fecker, that they threw in the towel and gave in.

We agreed a figure in London, at my barrister's chambers, back in March, and I thought that was it, but then the High Court stepped in with a not so fast motherfeckers!

So, getting another Monster may not be essential, as I have my KTM, but there is just a delicious irony of me getting another one! I'll get it delivered to my gaf and may never ever ride it. I just don't care! Having it in my garage will be enough! But as it is so light, and I don't work, I can just poodle about, in the daytime, when the weather is good with plenty of good rides around me. That was one of the reasons that I bought this place, so that there were so many nice routes to play with!

The anniversario has the same wheels as the Senna, I suspect they are the same bike but with cosmetic differences.

The wheels however for both, are listed as forged aluminium wheels claiming a weight saving of 1.86 kg .

That makes sense, as the wheels would explain it. Both these models are limited runs. Since I have no idea when I will get my money and if I will be allowed to spend it on a bike, rather than sanitary pads, I will just have to wait and see what is available and what money I have to spend. It will be a Monster of some sort from Riders, but I juat dunno which one!
