The electric car policy was expensive for taxpayers and unfair to people who couldn't afford them. Now we see the result of our leaders' ill-conceived electric car policy when the demand has disappeared and the electric car is laughed at just like another ethanol flop.

However, An electric mini has a weight of 1,615 - 1,680 kgs, A standard tesla 3 is 1,624 kgs and even a nissan leaf weighs 1,580 - 1,731 kg's. I suspect the majority of cars paying three times the parking rate for the same spot will not be suv's.

Itās just a ULEZ tax without the name. The vote only had a 5% turnout and they shafted the day to day users. Iāll just keep taking the train when I go to Paris.

Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton's Extreme E racing team have decided that they will not compete in the fourth and final season of the all-electric series.
Extreme E's aim was to raise awareness of climate change while hosting off-road races with electric SUVs, becoming a big player amongst many other motorsport series in recent years.
However, it has recently been announced that the series will be discontinued, with a hydrogen-powered series taking its place instead. That means that the 2024 season will be the final year of a championship that has received substantial backing from the FIA.
