Calm down, you know we have to ask :)
There's only you with one of these, why do you drive it like you ride a bike btw?

Ages ago 🤷‍♂️ stripped, weepy base gasket sorted and all back together last week so now built in 2 weeks 🙂👍
Waiting fairing and a tweak to the number plate on the seat unit which should be with me by the end of next week 🤪
Isn’t it exciting 🥳
The fairing & seat unit on the second bike?

Must be. The first one is finished.

Yep, that's finished, apart from a few brackets - best make them with a 3D printer first though  do your exhausts make motorbike noises in the wind, as when they are connected they wont 👀

ps: I hope you have heard of Nord-Lock washers :)

The exhausts just need "tweeking" a little & they'll be done.

Anyone who's familiar with anything Harley derived is well aquainted with a whole range of locking washers, Loctite & wire-locking methods, preferably using all three methods on every single fastener !! Failure to use at least one of these methods will result in the bike dis-assembling itself & that means the build process will have to start all over again ! :ROFLMAO:

With your track record Exi might I suggest you never start anything like I've built, human lifespan is just not long enough !
As far as the masses are concerned on here, the clock stops when we see a picture of the Kawasaki ALL TOGETHER, IN ONE PIECE, BODYWORK FITTED, RUNNING so ideally we'd be wanting a short video ! 😜🤣

So, as your build started sometime in 2013 we are currently in the eleventh year of manufacture ............. tick-tock, tick-tock !! :ROFLMAO:

Soooo, a few updates to follow since the full strip down undertaken about 3 weeks ago due to a weep from the base gasket...
I double checked with the gasket supplier and they told me to fit it dry - note to self: never ever fit a base gasket dry again 🤷‍♂️

Engine ready to lift...

I used cheap Tesco car mats to cover every bit of the fram which helped with a stress free removal...

Engine out, I whipped it down to my mates to utilise his ring compressors and use his 'never failed yet' gasket gunge and within a couple of hours he had it back together... I wasn't going to spend ours frigging about doing it by hand like last year 🥵

So it was soon engine back in time 🥳

I then re timed the cams in, checked clearances - decided to adjust 2 which were on top limit and had moved a further 0.02mm - so now all cock on towards top limit (as the will slowly close up in time...

And while the exhaust was off giving more clearance I fitting my 'Image Works' stickers on the swing arm.....
