Talking of bodge brackets !!Today instead of doing last months accounts as planned I decided to make the speed sensor bracket.
First I had to fill in the counter sunk holes on the fork bottom.
I fixed 4 stainless washers into the drill and span them against my power file to whittle the OD down so they were a 0.1mm clearance fit. I did 4 due to the shoulder on the bolt so the nut would tighten fully so I have 2 spares now

Then I whittled the bracket out of 3mm aluminium so it was well sturdy.

Now I need some 7mm spanners to tighten the sensor nuts, sure I had one at least but can't find it anywhere
