Obviously they will pay the consumer compensation for not being able to supply them.
Better hold off paying the dividends so they don't go bust.
I've had months of Shell telling me to put my DD up to £280 (it's £210 now and was originally £96 with my previous supplier 
) I kept putting it back to £210 after they kept changing it because I knew I wasn't going to use that much in the winter, plus the gov't rebate thingy would kick in.
As of today, I'm £360 in credit and they only took £144 this month.
They couldn't organise a pi$$ up in a brewery.

I had to phone customer services twice before I could convince them to leave my existing payment as was and then put the rebate on top, which
should see me zeroing out as the spring rolls in.
