I also recommend a film called The Peanut butter Falcon and something a little more obscure, The Joy Of Painting with Bob Ross which has got to be the most relaxing thing I have ever seen.

Watched it last night and yes it is gripping. Been to Mosul 3 times - once when it was safe and the other times when it wasn't; the film is very, very accurate - and I speak from experience. Mosul was a very beautiful place full of minarets; it took a bit of damage in 2004 - 2008 but Daesh completely trashed it including the ruins of Nineveh. Bastards!!!

It was on channel 4 this week so should be available on catch up. The programme was called the dambusters great escape, sinking of the tirpitz.
It explained how the Tirpitz took many thousands of lives and how the dambusters sank it. What made it more watchable was it had pilots and crew from the Lancasters and also surviving crew from the tirpitz. Away from the technicalities of war it also ended on those involved views of the war
