What can you recommend watching?

It only got worse, episode 4 had some proper wonky c*nt who just aligned everything to some kind of feminist rant regardless.
She needs a proper good shoeing!
Glad I didn’t get that far as it just boils my piss when they take a subject and make it all about their pathetic feelings and feminist movement!
most of them were built like brick shithouses and had no chance of any sober man causing them any harm 😂

The Fall on iPlayer with Gillian Anderson - rivetting!
Just finished watching it. I found the plot line rivetting, as you say for the first series but then the story lost its way and became incrfeasingly implausible. I feel that it was a series and a half too long and that whoever was in charge of tv scheduling told the scriptwriter to spin it out for three series and I sorta lost interest in what had started off as a good thriller but ended up as a soap opera.

Just watched Wild Target on Netflix

Got poor reviews when released but I though rather amusing

A Message from the King

excellent don’t know why never got round to watching before

Richard Hammond’s Big. Caught it by accident, the episode on the VW plant in Wolfsburg, wow 😮 impressive. One car every 16s.

It’s a shame RH comes across as a bit of a silly schoolboy twat and dies his beard, let the whole programme down IMO.

Just started on the Sopranos, bit late to the party some may say, but fuck it lockdown is tough going!

Thinking of The Wire next to mix things up.

Just finished Vikings, started season 1 before Christmas so not really binge watching.
Last Kingdom next, I think I watched the first two seasons years ago.

Also watched the first two seasons of Peaky Blinders, that was enough, I was totally bored half way through the second season but hung on just in case it improved. Really don't see what all the fuss was about.

A few things we watched lately - all Netflix:

The trial of the Chicago 7 - excellent 👍

Ma Rainey’s big black bottom - not bad. Not really my cup of tea coz it’s not got a beginning, middle & an end, just a middle but it’s been nominated for loads of awards. You can however see it was originally a stage play ie just the one set.

The Vanished - dire acting but a good twist at the end.

Next - despite the big name cast ie Nicholas Cage & Julianne Moore & Jessica Biel it’s best avoided. I reckon they’re all embarrassed they made that film but hey ho it pays the bills.

Cheat - probably an ex BBC production - excellent 4 part series 👍🏻

Just found a bike program on Virgin Cable Ch 553 FreesptsHD reviewing new bikes - it's called Bike World - the V4 SF has just been on...

I watched the film "Snowdon" again last night/early hours of the morning, reminded me this was under Obama too :D, good film though

Another is with Clive Owen, Christopher Plummer, Jody Foster and Denzil Washington, Directed by Spike Lee, called "Inside Man"
