Just finished watching it. The knife fight scene was epic.John Wick 3 Parabellum, is on saturday night at 9pm on Channel 4
Just finished Sophie, A Murder in West Cork.
Interesting story, with an open ended conclusion at this stage.
One of those cases where the police "aren't looking at anyone else" kinda deal...
The local (and not so local) Gards, due to naivety and/or imcompetence, prevented there ever being a proper and thorough investigation and sadly, it will never be proven who did it, or whether Ian Bailey did or didn’t do it.And doesn't the suspect resemble a certain Lord of the Shed?
After watching it, ok, he is pretty suspicious...but is it just made to appear so? Could there be a cop involved? That Detective came across as very dodgy to me, and the crime scene and evidence was fudged...how do they lose a 10' gate FFS?
Iain Bailey reminded me of David Brent! The local (and not so local) Gards, due to naivety and/or imcompetence, prevented there ever being a proper and thorough investigation and sadly, it will never be proven who did it, or whether Ian Bailey did or didn’t do it.
There are so many unanswered questions, especially ones that the ‘key’ witness Marie Farrell needs to answer.
There’s also a lot of local rumour which was never investigated and which perpetuates to this day, can’t write what as you never know who may read it.
Sadly, since the 2 separate series came out on Sky and Netflix, and there’s a 3rd being made at present, we now get more than our fair share of Murder tourists - which of course the narcissist, Bailey, laps up![]()
How many times did Bean say Bastard?
Not as many times as he’s said Give Blood or O2!

I'm just watching the fucking post because i want my fucking trophy FFS!!Just watched The Serpent (was BBC now on Netflix) the past few evenings; brilliant but chilling. It’s a true story about Charles Sobrahj, a serial killer operating in SE Asia in the late 70s knocking off trustafarians on the Hippy Trail. Well worth watching![]()

Do they check on you Jim? Genuine questionAs I’m on day 8 of my self-isolation after being in France and Boris changing the fucking rules while I was over there (twat), I’ve been doing all 8 seasons of Game of Thrones.
it’s interest watching it again and noting the hints as to what’s going to happen at the end in the preceding seasons.
Yes mate, I’ve had a call on my landline every day at different times of the day. Last time I had a visit from plod on one of the days to check up on me.Do they check on you Jim? Genuine question![]()
Only seeing this now Jim thanks, back when there was quarinteen in Ireland I gave my work mobile as I genuinely don't have a land line I used to sit in the van to take the call and go back to work but no checks in Ireland now travelling in Europe once I get a clean pcr test!Yes mate, I’ve had a call on my landline every day at different times of the day. Last time I had a visit from plod on one of the days to check up on me.
I can’t afford the fine so stay in. Done my 2 day test, negative and sent my 8 day test this morning, assuming that’s negative, I can return to normal on Saturday morning and looking forward to going out on the bike.

Atypical
View attachment 25070
Part drama, part comedy, Atypical follows the experiences of autistic teenager Sam Gardner (a.k.a. Dox). As he comes of age he seeks independence by finding love and graduating high school. In the newly-released third series, Sam goes to college to face the challenges of higher education and making new friends. You’ll get to know his family as his parents are going through relationship problems after his mother Elsa has an affair, and his sister Casey is struggling with her feelings for her best friend Izzie. Despite the range of emotions Atypical will send you through, there isn't one character you won’t love (or at least learn to) in this heartwarming show.
