I think i have said it before but Thomas Hardy who was my great great grandad twice removed was good freinds with T.E lawrence when he was in the tank corps and was at clouds hill at Bovington after the desert antics, just up the road from Bovington there is a memorial where he had his fatal crash and rightly so, he was a spent and used man, he tried to get the middle east to merge and create a united arabia but was betrayed by the uk govenment at the time as the feckers always seem to do!!
